ORDERED AGAIN
I got a set of 6 donuts and the Ube ice cream mason jar.
The ube ice cream mason jar was deeelicious.
Thai Tea with thai tea glaze - If you lile Thai Tea, you'll like this
Calamansi with guava glaze - Not bad!
Coconut Pandam with coconut pandam topping - Pleasantly surprised!
Cherry Blossom with strawberry glaze - Can't really go wrong with this.
Jackfruit with pineapple glaze - Only really tasted pineapple
Ube with ube glaze - I keep coming back for this one. Deliciousss
UPDATE! I ordered again.
Ube cake pop: 3/10. Good, but not really worth the price in my opinion. Just get the cake donut.
Ube cupcake: 3/10. The frosting had a super bitter taste that was impossible to eat.
Ube cake donut: 8/10. I topped it with an ube glaze, but It wasn't quite a glaze, more like a paste. Still very good.
Rose donut with raspberry glaze: 7/10. My glaze was replaced with cherry (thankfully I'm not allergic). I preferred the raspberry. This one is more neutral of a taste.

TLDR: I ordered from UberEats but I HAVE to go in person. The prices were super reasonable. They even threw in a free flan for me, which was super sweet of them. 9/10 place!!! I can't wait to order again. I have enough dessert for the whole week.
I am an extremely picky eater but I've always wanted to try ube. The portion size for the ube cookie was small enough that I didn't mind trying, and the reviews made it hard to resist. IT WAS SO GOOD!!! Super chewy, and the powder was a nice touch. 9.5/10
There were also mini cupcakes of other flavors I've never had before. Personally, the cupcakes didn't do the flavors justice. The only thing I tasted most was the lemon lime flavor. I would totally order again if the flavors were stronger. Solid cupcakes though, the texture was nice. And they got their lavender flavor down for sure. Definitely the best flavor I tried. 7/10
I got the ube flan, and it was also delicious. I have yet to try the other flan but I have no doubt that it will be good. 8/10
Their rose tea was good. It was definitely sweet though, and I wish they added more milk. The boba was more of a jelly texture. 6.5/10
My favorite thing by far were the donuts. They are cake-y, moist, and have customizable options. Sooo many toppings to choose from. I got rose with raspberry jam, and lavender with blueberry jam and lavender petals. 10/10 no doubt about it.
I ordered the strawberry shortcake cupcake and the hazelnut chocolate brownie as well, but have yet to try them. Sugar rush and all that.
Thank you so much!!
EDIT:
I wasn't a fan of the frosting on their cupcakes in general, but the strawberry shortcake cupcake was filled with strawberry compote. It was DELICIOUS! 7.5/10
I loved their hazelnut brownie. You can't go wrong with that combo. 9.5/10
The free flan they gave me tasted like regular flan. I'm not sure what flavor the cake layer is supposed to be, but I can't...
Read moreThis is my honest review. I am Filipina so I definitely know how pandan & ube flavor should taste like. I was not impressed, so disappointed. I had the pandan & ube cookies, ube donut, ube bundt cake, brownie, and sago gulaman. I really wanted to give Purple Dough a try, but the flavors were not doing it for me.
Pandan & Ube Cookie: These cookies are very colorful and cute, although that's it. I can even taste any pandan or ube. It's just a moist sugar cookie.
Ube Donut: The texture of this is more of a cake than a donut. I understand it's baked and not fried, although, I think they just call it a donut because it's round and have a hole in the middle. I actually can taste a tad bit of ube, but is good. It's a very moist cake, which is good.
Ube Bundt Cake: It's moist and it's a good bundt cake, although I can barely taste any ube flavor. It's just a really purple bundt cake. It's only good to take a photo of it for Instagram.
Brownie: Tastes like a chocolate brownie, it's very chocolatey and moist. It's a decent brownie, wish there's more depth. Overall it's good.
Sago Gulaman: First of all.... there's no (NONE!) sago bubbles! It's just a over sweetened sago drink with grass jelly and no sago! There's a Filipino restaurant nearby called, Tito Rad's; their sago is so much better.
Also I ordered this via Seamless, it arrived in a good amount of time, which was great. Although there's a $10 delivery fee, which is ridiculous. I didn't mind paying for the delivery fee if it was actually decent. I definitely won't order from here again. I think people are just amazed at the color of the food and not even realizing the flavors or lack of flavors.
My suggestion is to bump up...
Read moreCame here because weather was great and wanted to take a walk to a nearby dessert place. In addition, they had a yelp check in free cupcake offer. How can you pass that up? =D
We tried their Halo Halo, ube+flan, guava cupcake, mango cupcake, ube cookie, and pan dan cookie.
I really liked the Halo Halo drink. Much more so than Red Ribbon. They add flan to it. They also have red bean, green bean (i think), lychee, coconut strips, and slice of jackfruit. They also have some kind of grain/seed which I was okay with. I could do without it. A suggestion for the drink, use newly cooked red beans if you can. I think the warmth or at least room temp beans would help the drink as opposed to being nearly completely solid. There are other ingredients in the drink that already have a completely solid texture so this would balance it out.
As for the cupcakes, I thought they were okay but it isn't their forte. The ube+flan is unique but I thought it was overly sweet and it's just combining the two desserts, there's no cohesiveness between the two. You could easily separate the two and eat one bite from each and it would be exactly the same. If they could change the way the flan is made (not easy), it would be a big hit for them.
I thought their cookies were really good. This is one of their strong points. Not overly sweet, a balance between the ingredient and coconut flavor.
Overall, we preferred their halo halo drink and cookies. Depending on what you're in the mood for, this would be a great dessert spot for you. I recommend...
