Reclamation Bar — Restaurant in New York

Friend told me to never go because of the rude bartenders but I wanted to give it a chance and make my own decision.

Here is my experience before ordering my first drink of my entire night:

I found a credit card on the ground and gave it to a bartender and said “I found this on the floor. Do you mind taking it?” He turned to me and said “did you tell me to buzz off?” but much worse language. I laughed because I thought he was joking but he told me he was being dead serious. I explained again about finding a credit card on the floor and asked him why I would say something like that after giving him a credit card. He was still angry and threatened me with violence and swore at me again.

The bartender looked confused and like she didn't know what she was doing. 2 identical drinks come in different sizes and cost the same. I asked for a whiskey old fashioned sour she said that wasn't a drink which in every other place on the planet you csn get a whiskey sour or a brandy sweet old fashioned. The bathrooms don't have a light, it wasn't out just didn't exist and because of this there's piss on the floor. Because drunk people peeing in the dark don't mix well. The bartenders spent more time chatting away from the bar than tending bar which is their job, no excuse to wait 15 min for a drink when it's not busy and another 15 to...

Wasn't impressed at all. It has potential, but it's not really living up to it. We went there on a Thursday. There were two bartenders and one other girl running around. It was pretty chaotic and one of the bartenders was pretty grumpy. They didn't make their drinks consistently. We ordered a whiskey sour from both of them and one made it in a significantly smaller glass then the other. They advertise a "long" happy hour, which was $5 beer and $2 off well drinks.
