It's impossible to exaggerate when saying this place is the absolute best. Ambience and service are elegant, quiet and impeccable. The food is authentic, thoughtfully prepared, and simply delicious. My friend and I have always come here for the soba salad. They grow their own buckwheat, and the salad vegetables are crisp and fresh. The salad dressing is so flavorful and perfectly complements the salad and the soba noodles. The crisp noodles on top give you that pleasing crunch of texture. On this particular occasion, when we came into the restaurant, there was a mouth watering aroma of japanese curry. I couldn't resist it. I ended up ordering a small soba salad and then the godzilla beef curry for my entree. Wow. I have not had such savory, rich curry since I was in Osaka for my brother's wedding. I was instantly transported back to Japan by my tastebuds. Amazing. For appetizers, we also had the small chicken karaage and the miso black cod. I've had the popular miso black cod from Nobu and this dish is on par with that dish. The chicken was juicy and tender and served with a savory egg salad. Started eating here in April 2024, food is awesome, decor is pretty, and staff is very welcoming/nice.

From their entrees I have gotten (in order of favorite) shokado bento (high protein complete meal) beef sukiyaki (good for winter or if you have a cold) Godzilla curry (if you are in the mood for curry) zaru cold soba with shrimp&veggie tempura (good for a hot day) tantan-tsukemen (good for winter)

From desserts I have gotten (in no order) anmitsu (typical not to sweet Asian desert) lychee sorbet (tart and sweet) matcha mouse (my favorite and light)

From drinks (in no order) I have had some of their shochus and either have it straight or with green tea i have only had their junmais and ginjos because they are in my price range. And I only get these if I am in the mood for a carafe. Otherwise, I’ll do the flight. Which is nice can I try some flavors.

I now usually order usuals which is there limited bento box.

We made an 8:45pm reservation. We did not realize they close at 9:15pm. We arrived for dinner and were asked to order within 7 minutes of arriving. We asked to order another set of sushi at 9pm and we're told that was all we could order. When the server told the sushi chefs they threw their tools down on the counter and were visibly angry that we ordered additional food. We requested the bill and the server said that they add gratuity to the bill which seemed odd. The experience was poor and we ordered, ate, paid our bill and were leaving the restaurant by 9:20pm. There was one employee who worked there who was kind to us - a woman with lightly tinted lavender hair. I love sushi and am a bit of a sushi fanatic. In colorado we eat at Sushi Den which is far superior in fish quality and service. We also dined at Nobu during this trip and I would say the food and service were both considerably better at Nobu.
