Taco Express Mexican Grill — Restaurant in New York

Upon the dozens and dozens of Mexican spots in the area this place ranks last on my list. The 1st time I ordered from them and the food was alright, nothing spectacular about it but decided to give them another shot because no place is perfect, everyone has a off day. So 2nd time ordering from here was pretty much the nail in the coffin for me, I wish I could give them zero stars. The food is just not good, its very bland, dry, it didn't taste fresh at all and the burrito I ordered was cold! It's not like I'm that far from the place so really there's no excuse for it because the delivery guy came quick but Jesus H Christ that burrito was horrible and even worse I had to heat it up! At this point I could've made my own burrito and it would've tasted better than this abomination. Skip this place if you're hungry for some Mexican food, there's literally hundreds of better places...

The restaurant is located in the Bay Ridge section of Brooklyn. They prepare Mexican cuisine and have other locations. I ordered the chicken birria tacos which are soft tacos and are accompanied by a cup of broth. The corn tacos are crispy tacos and I chose the spicy grilled shrimp filling. Both taco orders have three tacos in an order. The burrito bowl is made to order with many different options. I chose tofu, black beans, Mexican rice, Mexican cheese, red chopped onion, pico salsa, romaine lettuce, corn salsa, queso, sweet mango verde sauce, chipotle sauce and guacamole. The keto salad bowl that I chose included tofu, queso, cilantro sauce, sweet mango verde sauce, guacamole, salsa, Monterey jack cheese, pico salsa, corn salsa, red chopped onion, black beans and romaine lettuce. Adobo Mexican Grill is a hidden gem in Brooklyn! The food is consistently fresh and flavorful. I tried the burrito bowl and nachos, and both were absolutely delicious. The ingredients tasted fresh, and the portions were generous.

The staff is friendly and attentive, making the dining experience even better. I appreciate that they offer halal options, catering to a diverse clientele.

The restaurant is clean and has a welcoming atmosphere. It’s great to have a place like this in the neighborhood that offers quality Mexican food at reasonable prices.
