Slap Burger Brooklyn — Restaurant in New York

After going to the movies, this was one of the only place nearby that was still open so we decided to stop by. We're so glad we did. First, we were greeted with a warm welcome and all the staffs were super nice. It was our first time so the cashier gave us multiple suggestions which helped a lot. She was very knowledgeable and extremely patient. We got the SLAP'N MELT, SLAP'N JACK and CHICKEN SANDWICH. While we were waiting for our burgers, she gave us lemonade to try. I'm in love with this place already. LOL. The burger itself is pretty basic. Maybe slightly on the bland side which I actually like. I prefer under salted than over salted. What made is good is their Slap Sauce. It adds instant depth to the flavor. However, I have to say the star of the night was the Chicken Sandwich. The coleslaw in the Chicken Sandwich was amazing! As you enter in a well kept space, you will smell grease and oil. After I left, my hair smelled as if I was making the burgers. I ordered a Slap N Jack ($10.50) with a side of small fries ($3.99) and a Single burger ($5.99) with a side of small fries ($3.99). After I paid, I realized there was a tip of $4.79 added. The male cashier took our order. After I left with my order, I realized the Single burger was missing so I went back. I spoke to the female cashier with curly hair and light colored eyes and my burger was received. There were no apologies or any attempt to recover from the mishap. The burgers were okay and smaller in size. The French fries were all soggy. I saw an eyelash hair on the top of the burger container and blew it off thinking it could've been my own until I saw another hair inside of the container. For all of these above, I will not...

So, overall, Slap Burger really delivers a great experience. Their Nashville chicken is flavorful and has that perfect balance of heat and crunch. The burgers are juicy, well-seasoned, and definitely satisfying. Plus, the spacious seating and clean atmosphere make it a comfortable place to hang out.
