Savino's Quality Pasta — Restaurant in New York

As a fellow small business owner in Brooklyn, I've relied on Savino's Quality Pasta for fresh ingredients to enhance my customers' dining experience. Unfortunately, the poor customer service I've consistently encountered has forced me to stop doing business there.

The young man working the counter has a habit of being rude and dismissive. His responses are often curt, and he seems indifferent to customers' needs. Today 8/17/2024 experience was the final straw. When I came in to purchase pasta for a special request, I was met with a condescending attitude and told I should have called ahead. Despite my concerns about his behavior, he showed no remorse and claimed the owner doesn't care with two young females behind the counter with their phones while at work.

I understand the challenges of running a small business in today's economy. This review isn't intended to harm Savino's, as their products are excellent. However, I believe it's important for the owner to be aware of the negative impact of poor employee behavior. I hope management will address this issue and ensure customers are treated...

This over-sized store with lightly stocked shelves carries high quality, freshly made pasta. A pound of linguini made just hours earlier will cost you no more than $2. For $8, you can buy a large box of specialty ravioli. My favorite being the mushroom ravioli. Just boil (6-8 min), add extra virgin olive oil and season o taste.

Savino's also carries a variety of Italian market goods like pickled vegetables,vinegar, and olive oil.

Fresh, homemade pasta just like your nonna used to make. You can’t find fresh pasta like this anywhere else and it doesn’t get more authentic than this. the pricing is great, no need to go to the grocery or fly to Italy. We loved the mushroom ravioli and the Gorgonzola ravioli, and got some homemade fettuccini. They will cut the sheet pasta fresh for you. The guys that work here are the friendliest.
