Serafina - E 49th & Third Avenue ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Outstanding Italian Experience in Midtown Manhattan
I recently dined at the Serafina location on East 49th Street and Third Avenue, and it completely exceeded my expectations. This popular NYC Italian restaurant chain has earned its reputation, and this location certainly delivers.
The Pizza - Absolutely exceptional! The crust alone is worth the visit - it’s perfectly thin and crispy on the outside while remaining wonderfully light and airy on the inside. You can taste the quality of the dough, which has that authentic Italian texture with just the right amount of char from the oven. The crust has great flavor on its own and provides the perfect foundation for the fresh, flavorful toppings. You can tell they use quality ingredients and have truly mastered the art of authentic Italian pizza-making. Every bite was delicious from edge to center.
The Salad - Fresh, vibrant, and beautifully prepared. The greens were crisp, the dressing was perfectly balanced, and it complemented the pizza wonderfully. It’s clear they pay attention to every dish, not just their signature items.
Service - The staff was attentive, friendly, and professional. They made great recommendations and ensured we had everything we needed throughout our meal. The service truly enhanced the overall experience.
Atmosphere - The location is convenient and the ambiance is warm and inviting - perfect for both business lunches and casual dinners with friends or family.
I highly recommend Serafina for anyone looking for authentic, delicious Italian food in Midtown Manhattan. I’ll definitely be returning soon!

Food was just ok. Service was great with a very nice hostess and server. Food came quickly and was definitely fresh out of the oven but it needed a little something to give it a kick of flavor. We sat at a table that was wobbly and was unable to be fixed with a table level under the legs — something like that is inexcusable and the table should be removed from the floor. There is nothing more annoying than a wobbly table. I think the management just needs to get their footing and this place will be great. We didn’t eat outside but the outdoor space is fabulous too. We will try...

Service people were kind but kept promising our food would be out in increments of 15 minutes
We ended up leaving an hour in and just paying for the appetizer that arrived about 30 minutes after ordering. It was 16 dollars for 4 pieces of bread and cheese.
Be prepared to wait...
