So as much as I donโt want the rest of the foodie world to know, about this phenomenal NYC place, here goes my story on how I found my new favorite and the best pizza in NYC. It was a beautiful sunny day. I was doing my daily sightseeing street walks, keeping my eyes open for new restaurants I might like to try out. On my walk, I came across a lively, fun crowd and beautiful people sitting outside this restaurant. I love pizza and noticed the gorgeous vibrant pie colors with fresh cubed mozzarella melted on top with the right amount of fresh sauce on what looked like fluffy light oven pizza dough. Every seat was taken and people were standing in line to be seated. The restaurant colors were so inviting, the blue and white decor, so as I continued to walk, I quickly pulled out my phone and looked up their google reviews. All I read are phrases such as, "I swear there must be a bending in space-time at the entrance as the entire experience transported my partner and I to Italy. It is the best Margherita pizza Iโve had outside of Europe," and another review that said, "I lost my confidence to try pizza after coming back from Italy. However, this place is really amazing and reminded me of the best pizza in Italy. Great work!" It was at that moment I reached the end of the block and I had to turn back and ask someone who was eating what do you think on a scale of 1-10 hows the pizza? She looked at me with eyes wide and bright and said in mid-swallow of her slice, "This place is a F#$%ING TEN." and repeated it twice. I was planning a girl's night out and we had another Italian spot in mind I told them change of dinner locationS so we are coming here. I am so grateful I walked back and so grateful I came yesterday with my two other friends. This place did not disappoint. I rate this place a 10 out of 10. I also highly recommend their eggplant appetizer, which was also a 10 out of 10. I love pizza and have tried almost every pizza spot in New York and I finally found the one that's NUMBER ONE IN NYC and that's Song E Napule NYC. I will be back with my fam and friends. Best,...
ย ย ย Read moreI had one of the best food experiences of my life in this restaurant today. First of all, I have NEVER reviewed a restaurant, but I am taking the time to do it because everything was spectacular:
The Food: wow. I ordered a Pizza Diavola. The dough and crust of the pizza was top notch. The ingredients are of a really good quality. Some Italian friends had already recommended me this place, as it was an authentic Napoli pizza. They were not wrong. The flavors and the crust were perfect. Also the Nutella Pizza was delicious and had a perfect balance of Nutella/pizza dough.
The Place: they take care of the little details. Everything is branded (plates, napkins, etc.) and it makes a huge difference for the overall experience. The place is small but you feel in a Michelin Star restaurant. The restaurant is very clean and comfortable (this is a plus in NYC).
The Service: the manager/owner (he receives you in the front door and takes the orders) gives the extra mile and makes sure you have the best experience ever. He is Italian - I did not ask for his name - but looks like a manager/owner. What a nice guy. Seriously. He made sure our experience was the best one. We were celebrating a birthday and he literally offered the best service ever. He deserved the whole tip along with the other waiters (they were really kind).
I suggest you to make a reservation ahead of time because the place can get crowded. If I could give 6 stars to this place I would definitely do it. I will...
ย ย ย Read moreEver since having Italian food in Italy, Iโve been on the hunt for that one restaurant in NYC that could replicate the aromas, the experience and most importantly the taste of the most delicious meals Iโve ever had. Let me tell you, Iโve had Italian food in NYC at all price points from your local neighborhood Italian spot to overly social media hyped expensive restaurants which could have been good but still not close to the food Iโve had in Italy. After having dinner at Song' E Napule, with confidence, I could say my search is finally over!
I ordered the Carpaccio di bresaol, Gnocchi Fresh Black Truffle and the Bufalina Pizza. Everything smelled so delicious and every single bite was more flavorful than the last. I couldnโt tell you how many times my sister heard me say, โit tastes like Italy!โ This all made sense when the waiter told me that most of there ingredients were imported straight from Italy.
The spot is definitely on the smaller side with a lot of busy bodies and the tables are pretty close to each other but I say the cozier the merrier and which spot isnโt in NYC. Prices were very reasonable (I paid a total of $81+ tip and left popping open a button). The waiters kept asking if we needed anything and were super accommodating to another table next to us that had dietary restrictions. Overall, I truly loved my entire experience here and canโt wait to be...
