I am disappointed to have to write this review. I visited this location while visiting NYC just before heading to visit the Statue of Liberty. In need of a caffeine fix, I thought it would be an excellent time to use the reward I had been saving for a couple of weeks.
I ordered an iced venti soy caramel macchiato. The only modification I requested was soy milk, so I didn't get complicated. After quite some time I finally had my drink called out to me. It was in a grande cup, so I knew something was not exactly right. When I grabbed the drink I noticed it had been rung up as a grande caramel macchiato sub caramel syrup. If anyone has ever had this beverage, they would know that caramel syrup is inappropriate-it should be vanilla. I politely explained that this was not the drink I ordered and told him what it was supposed to be. I immediately caught attitude and he rolled his eyes only to then tell me "well, they charged you for a grande". As an ex Starbucks partner myself, I immediately recognized that he was insinuating that I was trying to lie my way into a more expensive beverage (he did not acknowledge the caramel syrup issue). I told him it was a reward so the size didn't matter, it was free anyway. He then proceeded to stare at me until I had to overtly ask "Do you not believe me?" to which he scoffed and grabbed the drink back from me.
The drink I received was not appropriately remade as they are supposed to do, but rather dumped into a larger cup and added more ice and milk. I am sure the drink still had the wrong syrup because it tasted nothing like a caramel macchiato should, and I doubt it was made with soy milk. I was extremely offended that I was treated this way for no apparent reason and disappointed I wasted my earned reward on this beverage. Because of our ticket reservation I had no more time to waste at this establishment and did not even finish half of the drink before throwing it in the trash. I love Starbucks, but would warn anyone about this particular...
Read moreVery good service, I asked for a Nitro draft but they refused to serve it to me because the machine is malfunctioning and the drink is too liquidy. So they apologized and directed me to the closest one so I can get it. Then I went to the one they told me to and got the drink. Then I went back to the original Starbucks to enjoy it. They didn't say anything. Would go again for sure given the chance. Five stars for service and the humbleness displayed. The place is kept very clean and the design of it very modern. I love it. And they were playing soft music and it wouldn't bother me as I spend time working on my stuff. Anyone happens to be in the area should definitely stop by for a cup of coffee or something. Plus they have free WiFi and that makes it a great place to spend time to work while enjoying some quiet time. My busy life is packed with stuff. It is hard...
Read morethis place was very packed and a lady stomped out of the shop after yelling at the top of her lungs at an employee (I'm pretty sure it was something having to do about waiting so long for her drink) after this, everybody was kinda quiet and looking at eachother like wth is going on. After my long wait, my drink finally came and when I took a sip I was very dissapointed because it was very unflavorful (very berry hibiscus) and I just left and didn't tell an employee because I was feeling flustered with the crowd and didn't want to bother the hard workers. Don't really think I would come again but đ€·ââïžđ€·ââïž also I wouldn't come here if you were planning on studying or doing something that required a quiet atmosphere because it is quite loud with the humongous line going out the door so if I were you I'd either go to a different shop or get your drink and...
