Removed almost ½ of seating plus all condiments to behind their service area, and closed shut electrical outlets. In the past when there was much more seating, staff would periodically walk floor enforcing time limits, so this decreased seating is puzzling.
Motormouth woke staff holds constant inane chitchat at decibel levels much higher than customers'.
One positive: removed floor rugs that they used to sweep with straw broom while adjacent customers ate. At closing they'd put them outside but not shake them; and next day just bring them in- unshaken & cruddy- then periodically sweep them inside. All the broom did was kick up dust into customers, it didn't remove anything sizable - the same oddly colored threads & other particles remained permanently.
High prices, tiny portions, strange flavor coffee, you can't charge your device, might not find empty seat or will be scrunched together, distracted staff, high decibels (whether from staff or being seated too close to others)... What am I getting for the $pend? At big portions & dollar coffee you'd think: ok, I'm not getting X- but at least I'm getting Y, or paying a bargain price... Yes, I know about free refill & ⭐⭐ promos, but what use are they if I have to leave promptly because phone / tablet battery low or can't get a seat. There's plenty of empty sidewalk space- at least put out a few park benches, and outdoor speakers can pipe out background music & maybe employees could broadcast ready orders.
We'll enter a Depression later this year- first casualties will be big prices and...

I just learned this location does NOT HAVE 2 BATHROOMS!, the desing needs remodeling in order for the employee's bathroom not to be exposed to customers because they want to use it and get upset not understanding why, although the door has a sign that says "Employees Only".
Have you ever seen a barista use the customer's bathroom in any location? Nop, bcs it's hidden or mostly on the back, like restaurants.
It would be great if Starbucks could re-design that area to avoid people asking to use the bathroom for employees.
On the other hand, honestly, there's no other Starbucks in the area that lifts you up with an honest smile, a joke or even a nice message when you order delivery like this location, is just the fact they don't really have to do it but they do anyways and that's very kind ❤
Also their drinks are always super delicious!, it is always full of customers and orders, but employees are extremely fast, treating everyone nicely and helping eachother so the wait time is not bad and if you don't want to wait, when I order through the app from my job, it is always ready by the time the app tells me to pick it up.
The store is always very clean, the common areas, bathroom and the bar where they do the drinks. Food, veberages are always perfect quality and if you don't get what you wanted, they make...
Read moreExtremely crowded at all times. Staff is annoyingly, loudly chatty with one another- a Starbucks hallmark. In the mornings the inside rug gets haphazardly picked up while spreading a dust cloud, shaken a bare foot outside the front door, then straw-broom swept multiple times a day while you guessed it-kicking up dust again. At various times an employee does the rounds stating, "the owner is here and wants to enforce a table time limit"... even when there are tables available... other longer-staying customers are left alone. Another annoyance: you read the paper \ work on laptop your eyes sometimes close temporarily. Count on the loudest chimp worker to immediately come chastise you. Never mind that he\she already slowed down your work with all the loud chatter and horseplay behind the counter. FYI i wear business suit and always tip. But this is Howard Schultz's mantra, he has told his employees to discuss social justice issues with customers in order to change thinking. So young snowflakes and ghetto trash, too inept to use a broom properly, much less posses proper manners or a college education, are empowered to think that their elders are ignorant and must...
