Starbucks — Restaurant in New York

I really want to like this location as it’s so convenient and the baristas are so sweet, but the service here is so slow it’s absolutely unusable for ferry commuters. .. the staff is rude as anything for no reasons, delaying orders and then rolling eyes WTH… ? Making wrong orders and no sorry nothing??? People were waiting for so long and leaving the store without their order as they were requesting them to be quicker and more slower they were being… i am not sure of the names but there were 2 guys on day shift and a woman on the cashier then later one more woman joined them .. every one looked frustrated because of the delay happening… A not so busy store as compared to other baristas in city, And they were slowwwwwwww real slowwwww and messsy with the glasses , preparations and delivery as well should not have me waiting 20 minutes and still not getting my order , then we got it and it was wrong, the lady at the cashier accused me of ordering a regular drink where i ordered frozen one ,,, we waited another 20 minutes to have it made the way it was ordered, pffffffff having a simple order not get to me in a...

Honestly this is one of my favorite locations. First off let’s talk about how amazing the customer service is here. I get the most homely kind greeting everytime I come in. Marissa and Kristin are absolutely amazing. I wouldn’t want any other barista performing their artistry of making my coffee. A great thing, sometime I don’t even know what I want and I ask them to make whip up a surprise and hands down always an amazing coffee. Customer service is great. I only come here because of Marissa and Kristen. I take the extra walk even tho Dunkin is right next door. It’s worth it.

My only complaint, they need so more upbeat music. It’s too elevator music for my taste.

Now for all these people who are complaining about getting their drinks quicker because they are on the ferry time. What I think, those complainers just need to wake up earlier and not rush to get coffee. It’s okay to wake up an extra 25 mins early. You are getting a coffee anyways to wake you up. Beautiful clean store, super friendly staff, but I took two stars away for two reasons - I just went in and bought a dirty (w/ 2 espresso shots) vanilla chai latte, and I wanted to use my rewards to pay for the two shots, but I couldn't do that because their rewards system isn't working. I said that's fine as long as I could still use my Starbucks card to pay (I could) so I was on my way. It wasn't until I was already on the ferry that I realized there were NO espresso shots in my drink 😭 I paid for TWO espresso shots & got none. There was one other customer in the store who got a regular coffee so it's not like they were busy or overwhelmed, they just forgot to put my shots in. The reason I took the second star away is because when I try to call their phone number listed on Google, the number is not in service. I understand that this is a new shop that's only about a month old but Starbucks is an international company that's been around as long as I've been alive and I just expect to get what I ask for when I go in.
