Overall: 2.9/5
I often noticed their A-frame sign on my commute to work, and the vibrant blue drink featured on it always caught my eye. On my last morning of commuting, I finally decided to give it a try.
The cafe has a distinctive charm, blending an antique aesthetic with a rock & roll vibe. It's a very small space, with just 2-3 tables,
I ordered the hot Lithium Coffee ($7.50) with Oat Milk ($1.11), while my coworker got a hot matcha latte. The drink size was generous, and the blue color from the butterfly pea tea was striking. Unfortunately, the taste didn't live up to the visuals. It was heavy on spices, and I honestly can't recall the other ingredients beyond the tea. I couldn't finish the whole drink so I felt bad for wasting. The drinks take a bit of time to prepare, so if you're in a hurry, plan accordingly or save your visit for when you...

The prices are above average to start with (1-2 dollars higher compared to other places), and you would expect a good coffee as it is their only location. The inside decoration and atmosphere seem nice, but we risked to drop our coffee twice as the table was wobbly. The cappuccino was so hot that I burned my tongue, and the machine they use is one of those that mix the coffee already (hence, no barista skills/latte art).
The cold brew cup was not closed properly, and it leaked on my clothes. I know you can do better than this, especially if you want to distinguish yourself from the franchise competition. I did not try any food, I can't speak about that.
Get a better coffee machine and a barista, fix your tables and chairs, and you'll go a long...
Read moreShockingly bad. Ordered decaf latte. After taking a few sips I had to ask if I had actually got what i ordered. It was watery and smelled/tasted nothing like coffee. I asked the barista to taste it and tell me that this is what it is supposed to taste like. He said it is just "decaf" which is ridiculous as i drink decaf every day, both in cafes and at home. He did make me another one which again was just hot water that had the smallest hint of coffee. I have a feeling extremely old beans might be an issue but either way it was awful. The café itself was nice to sit in, but the "coffee" was just lacking. Shocking experience and an utter waste of money. I wish I had asked for...
