The cashier over charged on several items. It was the guy who usually makes the food. I have no idea where the cashier person was at the time. Perhaps he wasn't that familiar with the prices. Nevertheless, don't over charge customers if you want their business in the future. The Bruce Ginger Ale is always $2.50. He charged me $3.25. The chips (that I just purchased last week) was $4.00. This guy tried to charge me $5.00 for a bag of chips. I told him that he could put it back because that same exact bag was $3 and something just last week. He scans the item and then says, "Oh yea, it's $3.75. Really? You're not familiar with the prices AND you don't actually scan the items either. Are you too lazy to scan the items? That's what the scanner is for; genius! You can't charge customers random prices. Scan the items if you don't know the price! Jeez!
UPDATE: I went back today to this place and attempted to buy the same ginger ale. I asked the cashier (same person as before) for the price. He said that it was $4.00. I told him that the soda is $2.50. There's no way that the price would increase on a bottled soda by $1.50 within one week. If there is a price increase, it may be $0.25 or $0.50 at the most. I said okay fine, would you mind please scanning the item so we could get the correct price. GUESS WHAT?! The cashier refused to scan the item. He said that if I didn't want the item that I didn't have to buy it. There is only one reason why someone wouldn't scan an item: because they don't want to reveal the actual price. These people are STEALING money from customers. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt, but boy was I wrong!. This is so illegal and someone should definitely...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreRead a review that they were overcharging people. I went for the first time today since they're close to my workplace and ordered a 16 oz smoothie listed at $5.99 and a cheesecake at $3.50. The guy who made it was super friendly even said he'd make it a 20oz for me. I checked out and waited for a receipt, and after a few seconds of awkward silence, I had to ask for it. Lo and behold the cashier charged me $7.99 for the smoothie. I went back in and they apologized, thanked me for noticing, and gave me a dollar back. Because this has happened to other people, I have my doubts about the honesty of this establishment. Smoothie was great though, hence the 3 stars. -2 for...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIām writing this review so that hopefully the owner sees it and fixes what needs to be fixed here! I was so excited for this place to open - however, the people that work there are unable to prepare more than half the stuff on the menu. Iāve ordered so much stuff thatās supposed to be one thing but ends up coming out completely wrong. For example, I ordered a green smoothie, and got a cup full of strawberries and almond milk that wasnāt fully blended. This place has such potential and I really want to be able to go there...
