Ibiza Kidz — Local services in New York

I have always shopped this store but today I came in with some real needs (snow gear!) The owner was beyond amazing. She literally helped me with all my needs and even got my 3.5 year old to try on all the clothes, including snow boots. She was so wonderful and their selection was incredible. She totally knew her stuff and was so helpful helping me pick the right things (eg going up a few sizes in the snow boots, mittens over gloves, etc). I feel like everything in that store has been so thoughtfully curated. I’m grateful to have this resource in the neighborhood and also happy to support small businesses in the community. Plus all the jackets are 25% right now. I’m generally not a person who writes reviews but had to share for all the other moms out there! Especially for last minute snow...

The BEST Customer Service EVER!!! I LOOOOVE Ibiza Kidz. They are just great, incredibly helpful, warm and friendly. All my experiences shopping there have always been amazing. They always have what I need or order it for me if they don't have it. They are endlessly patience when I'm confused and I don't know what shoes to buy, what style, etc. and they never push any product. No even when my son tried on an amazing blazer. He looked fantastic and they just comment on it earnestly. Once I took my friend's daughter to get a princess dress (Oh boy, I want a girl after I paid attention at the gorgeous selection of dress up for girls that they have!!!). They have a good show selection but usually not enough sizes. The staff is good with measuring feet etc. The clothes selection is very limited and many items, especially toys are very very over priced. I know Manhattan rents are steep, but still I won't pay 30% extra for what hey offer or convenience. Manager/owner is not that kid friendly. Makes one feel uncomfortable. But the overpricing is what really makes this a no go unless I am in a bind. Stores like Sweet William or Acorn or Kidding Around are way better. In regard to toys Barnes and Noble have a good selection at fair prices...
