I have had better sushi. I get the feeling when I eat this sushi that I got yesterday’s order and rice. The pork bento box was hard and no flavor. All the roll made are sloppy. I came here because of all the raves of how great they are and they are not. The avocado is Mushy and old. What a waste of money. You might have better luck if you sit there and eat. 74. Dollars I could have went to the supermarket and bought food.ugh it looks like I made these rolls. Also they didn’t give me napkins chop stick soy sauce as if every body just has that in there house.

We ordered from the lunch menu and it wasn't bad! The salmon avocado and spicy tuna rolls were 7/10. The ginger was a bit dry and didn't taste as fresh. The unagi donburi was 5/10. They gave a lot of rice and only five pieces of unagi. The unagi tasted great but it was very thin. The service was good. We were the only customers and the lady waiting on us was very polite and friendly. The place itself is very small but seems relatively clean.

I ordered from them on seamless and you get charged high fees and overpriced food and tipping is optional to begin with. But I generally wait to get my food to make sure it’s okay and not damaged from delivery to tip. I also asked in note to leave on doorknob to avoid knocking and the guy was rude as hell. The dog was barking because he knocked and wouldn’t give me the food until he got tipped and I said I would update the tip in the app. The guy kept knocking and knocking while I was on the phone with the restaurant and I kept repeating myself the dog kept barking and I said forget it I don’t want the food anymore take it back and he stayed there anyway and kept knocked. He wouldn’t answer the phone when the restaurant called him and I told the restaurant to just take the food back. That is highly rude and not how you do business. So now I’m having to wait for a damn refund and no have food because one stupid rude guy didn’t follow instructions or listen to a word I said. So now you just did all that walking which was one block for NOTHING and got no tip for your arrogance. I will also be contacting better business bureau. They would get zero stars from me be if it allowed it! I’m tired of them not listening to instructions and messing up my food and spilling and damaging stuff. So I tip after I inspect the food now. Just lost a customer who only liked you for convenience anyway not because it was the best in the area! Taste of their food also varies so eat at your own risk. Not the first person who has had stomach problems from them either but it’s not every time I eat there. But every time their delivery people are rude and run you over on the sidewalk with their bikes! Even more rude as well as against the law! Avoiding this place like a plague...

tl;dr: rotten crab but it’s your fault for eating it. Left out most of the bad details but this is a rant. Leaving up because I think it’s deserved.

Used to order sushi from them quite often. Good prices, and it was decent. Then, tonight, I ate a spider roll from them. The first couple pieces were alright, but halfway through the 5th of six I felt my stomach turn. I’ll spare you the gory details but it was immediate and required 15 minutes of… oral expulsion bent over the toilet to feel halfway decent. I probably have food poisoning now, so tonight’s going to be fun.

This, to me, wasn’t the worst part. I called at this point to let them know so they hopefully would 86 the crab, give me at least a partial refund. I liked this spot, bad fish happens, whatever.

I explained the situation to the woman on the phone, who put me on ‘hold’ to talk to someone else in mandarin (she did not mute) then told me she couldn’t give me a refund because ‘since I ate so much of it it must not have been bad’. She then proceeded to tell me it was my fault, but could send me a replacement roll. She was wholly unkind, impolite, and rude over the phone. It didn’t seem so much as an apology even transgressed her mind, and I hope that they realize why one of their local, long term, consistent clients has disappeared.

I did offer to bring the roll back if they would want to try it since there was ‘nothing wrong with it’ so they could try it and let me know, but I was yelled at for that so sorry about that but I literally just threw up my dinner and now have to figure out how many carbs I ate because I took a shot of insulin for sushi that either came up or I will not eat the rest of because looking at it right now is making me...

Sushi Suki is a tiny place, a neighborhood sushi restaurant with a boilerplate menu that does mostly delivery orders through all the apps.

The take-out and delivery experience is extremely accurate, consistent, and B+ quality for low prices. I'm not sure there is a higher value sushi delivery experience in NYC than the Sushi Suki 3-roll lunch special.

Surprisingly, their tempura is very decent. The sashimi is a little thick and a little tough, but actually ok. Basic rolls are excellent, deluxe rolls (e.g. ones doused in mayo or other sauce with more than 3 ingredients) are a little sloppy.

The dine-in experience is polite and efficient but the place looks and feels like the hygiene agency B rating it had for quite some time.

This is not a place you take a date or begin to try unusual items. This is a place where you load up a delivery order and feed a small squad with completely passable, decent sushi at...
