this may look like your garden variety bodega from the outside, which is what I had always thought, but don't be fooled! The other day I happen to be nearby and I was lazy so I ended up doing my full grocery shopping there. The quality of the ingredients they carry are amazing! I got a basic block of cheddar and mozzarella and they were better than anything I have been able to find at other nearby stores, including Agata and Citarella. and they are actually cheaper than both of those stores. I also got the most amazing blue heirloom eggs. Were they expensive? Yes. But are all eggs including low quality ones expensive? Yes. So then just pay for the amazing blue eggs. The color of the yolks were a gorgeous golden orange, the way they are supposed to be. After my last experience shopping with them, I think I'm going to try to fully switch over to them. The only thing I'm not sure whether they carry is things like raw meat for cooking but then you can just walk over to Ottomanelli and get the best quality of that at their...

Walked in and asked if I could exchange a few dollars for quarters and the lady at the register said she can exchange it for me. Then I said “one second. I’m going to buy something.” Then range up very small carton of oat milk. It was $8. I said I wasn’t paying for that since it’s cheaper at even Whole Foods. Then she said she wasn’t exchanging anything for quarters. Before I bought anything she said she was going to. That’s not being kind and sad everything has to be so about money than customer service. Love to give this place more stars but the staff can be so unfriendly and I imagine its because the owners are not nice. I shop here when ever I need something quick as its next to my building. And yet if I owe say a 1.02 and don't have the 2 cents they will not spot you. They have a five dollar minimum on credit cards and I needed an onion for dinner they said we can only charge you five dollars for the onion? Really you can't just charge me a 3% credit card fee like everyone else? This is has happened to be at least 15 times over the year. Given the choice I always...
