This restaurant or dining experience went from a low grade to a 5 by a simple kind gesture by the manager ROYayahna. Forgive me if I misspelled it. However after having my partner screw up an online order and me being cranky from not eating all day and feeling dizzy from being diabetic and not eating I reordered my order thru the store instead of the app after hearing an employee saying it barely any difference. At the end if the order. Just three items created a difference of almost 4 dollars. Being turned off by that I canceled the order and packed up and started to leave quite dissatisfied at the turn of events and being dizzy and it raining outside. Then a hero steps out of no where. She happens to be outside checking out the down pour and starts chatting listens to my story. She runs in and back out with a taco just to get me thru the trip. I thanked her and was indeed grateful and not to mentioned I stuffed it down in two bites and washed it down with my bottle if water. That is what brings customers in Snd what makes loyal customers keep coming back. What she did was genuine and she deserves and affirmation for her actions. Now I'm not slouch or homeless infact I'm all dressed up in a button up and chic slacks. She wasn't looking fir anything but the satisfaction if a human being in need of help or in need to a solution. I thank you for that and I really hope the owner reads this and thanks you sincerely for your genuine kind actions. Thank you very much. To note, that small taco was enough to give me enough energy to muster into the rain take some pics and post this long post not caring if I can't sick but caring that others were able to know and acknowledge a good thing in their neighborhood. Your actions kept me going through out the night keeping me focused and grounded 9n what the true importance Snd possibly the real meaning or even our goal for our relatively short period on this Earth. Amazing how one taco could change a man's mood not for some minutes but for the rest of the night. BeCAUSE it's what we take from this action that gives us the insight to...
Read moreI went to the Taco Bell on 3rd and 104th st and they had prompt, politely and good service, ordered a Volcano Burrito and it was excellent. The gentleman working the counter there was great. I asked them if by chance they were hiring and he informed me the one on 97th was in dire need of help.
I went to this Taco Bell and the first thing I noticed was all poorly printed signs, they had no I've, they were not taking cash because they didn't have enough people to run the registers. I waited 15 minutes to even be acknowledged. This store was running with 3 people and I believe one of them was new, they clearly needed staff. However, when I offered the lady working counter my resume, she called her manager over and the manager looked at me up and down and said, "No Thanks". She had no reason to behave this way, I was professionally dressed, in bissiness casual attire, and more than presentable.
I have ran quick service restuarants for 20 years, started with McDonald's and was a General Manager with Burger King and Popeyes. Of which I ran number 1 and 2 stores in my respective region and the way this manager was running this store was unacceptable, the way customers were not promptly greeted and how she staffs this store is not acceptable. She did not even accept my resume to review, she asked me no questions, didn't even say she was too busy, she literally just looked up and down at me and said "No Thanks"
For the life of me I can't figure out why she behaved this way or came off as so judgemental, the only thing I can think of is the entire staff at that time was of Latin American and I am quite white. But her behavior was far from professional and the way she was running this shift I would have never accepted in my district or region. It honstely makes me wonder if some of the reviews I'd read are true, given the tone of this lady and how she represents the company I would say some of the reviews are probably quite accurate.
An honest...
Read moreI actually used to work here a couple of years ago and it was one of the cleanest places I have ever worked at. The owners are very friendly and they keep an eye on this place apparently at all times. They take very seriously the customers opinion and comments and they made sure they gave us hell for it every week. People did get fired because of this and they also make sure to check the cameras. They gave us warnings if we did anything wrong and fired people if they didn't listen. The only thing that bothered me is they wouldn't let us give tiny cups to homeless people that would come in now and then or let us let them use the bathroom. It broke my heart and it seemed kind of heartless to me even though I understand a little bit of why since I did have to clean the bathroom, but still heartless. Every time there was few costumers or none at all we would clean up absolutely everything we could. There was no employees sitting on their butts or...
