This is my second time at this place. The first time the sandwich was insanely good and over the top. Today the sandwich barely had any meat on it. The staff barely speaks to you. I had high hopes for a great deli near my job. I kind of feel ripped off spending $14 for this sandwich. Pic 1 is today's sandwich, Pic #2 is my 1st sandwich from last week.

I came here in the evening really hungry, and it was exactly what I needed. The food at Taste of Delicatessen is always delicious, everything is clean and well kept, and in the summer it’s pleasantly cool inside — perfect when you’re working in NYC and need a break. Highly recommend this place to everyone!

i honestly don’t like to be that type of girl but truly this deli is absolutely horribly disgusting their snacks are expired every time i buy from here. chicken over rice gave me a major stomach ache, kept vomiting after i found hair in my food. the grill always looks messy, lettuce & onions section for the sandwiches are always cross contaminated with all the messiness but didn’t think much of it til now. they’re expensive for low quality food and i’ve noticed this store writes their own reviews on different accounts to make this store reviews look satisfying. i advised to not come here if you don’t want to spend $35 on just a sandwich and some snacks ;) DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY...

I am so sad to be leaving this review but I stopped by for a breakfast burrito and there were a couple of mixups: I got handed a chicken caesar wrap instead of a breakfast burrito When I opened the breakfast burrito there were no eggs in it (understandable if they were out of eggs due to the shortage but I wasn’t given any notice. I would not have ordered a breakfast burrito knowing I would be eating a potato and bacon burrito) They kindly let me keep the chicken Caesar wrap, but when I ate it there was a hair in it

On 3rd ave and 38th theirs 2-3 competitors one On 39th St. and one on 36th St. and out of everything this spot has to be one of the best places I’ve ever ate at I’m going to be honest everything is Halal. Everything is clean. I looked at the bad reviews before coming to the spot, but I seen there was 10 times more good reviews and I’m gonna say this the people that are giving the bad reviews have to be competitors or have never ate at the spot because I tried 10 different things.
