I ordered an Açaí Berry Smoothie and I noticed that the person making it didn’t put any açaí in it. I asked her about it and she essentially said it doesn’t come with açaí in it because that’s how the owner has told them to make it.
I was confounded since the name of the smoothie has the word “Açaí” in it and açaí was the first ingredient listed under the name on the menu. It felt like a deceitful business practice since the workers were not surprised at all and clearly knew there was a discrepancy between what they were marketing vs. what they were serving. Especially paying $9 for a 12 oz smoothie that only has bananas and blueberries it in, I was quite disappointed by this experience.

Read moreWalking down and being so hungry after 3:30 pm was time for lunch, you see, I don't do lunch unless I am hungry. I guess that's what help me to not be overweight and eat anything I want. I saw this kind of lower level of the sidewalk restaurant and it seemed cozy and good to try.
The Salami sandwich on grain bread was delicious, I got it with Avocado with and extra charge of course. The down side was, it was too small for me. I like huge sandwiches that satisfy my hunger and don't let me feeling like I need more, like the sandwiches I get in Brooklyn, a bit pricier but they are huge.

I quickly decided on the oven roasted chicken breast wrap, filled with "homemade" pesto and sun-dried tomatoes. Sadly, I was left unimpressed and distressed by the lack of hunger addressed by the small, dry sandwich. Alas, my pleasure was denied by the wraps flavorless design.
