Teado lets you taste the drink to make any additional changes which is great and not something I've ever encountered. It's a bit shocking to the point where you probably wouldn't even ask for changes on your first visit, but if you come regularly, this may be a great thing to ensure consistency. They're still cautious about COVID so they only allow one customer or one party in to order. They also take a while to make drinks so if you choose to wait in line, it might take a while.
Boba is chewy but not too flavorful or sweet. Cup size looks to be 16oz at only one size so the price point is a tad pricey. Toppings are $.85 which is also pricey. Overall my 16oz milk tea clouddo with boba was like $6.50 before tip whereas I can get 20-24oz for cheaper.
Milk Tea Clouddo with Boba - the clouddo is a basic crema, not too special or surprising. Milk tea was a strong Hong Kong style, thicker and stronger tea flavors with light milk added.
Passionfruit Green Tea - pretty bitter but somehow refreshing as a fruit green tea.
Winds Special - slightly bitter but sweet. Not as bitter as the passionfruit. Maybe...

The shop is small but decorated with lots of cute figurines. They only allow 1 party at a time because it is quite tight inside. The selection is vast, so you can definitely find something. The thing I noticed that I dont see at other tea shops is that you can choose the intensity of the tea. Other shops are just ice and sugar level selections. After you decide on your order, they would make it and let you taste what you order to see if the levels are good before pouring it into the full cup.
I did enjoy what I got, which was the Jasmine green tea, because I like something milky, so paired with the default, strong tea was perfect since green tea is light. The milk was not overbearing, so I still was able to taste the tea. Would I come back? I would, but not if I see a line out the door. If you do try it out, let me know what you think, and they also have onigiri if you want some snacks to go...
Read moreBack here again and it’s still delicious. Updated with some new toys they have up 💚
Experience/Environment: My goal while in NY was to get boba every day. The decor in here was super cute. Action figures and legos that I super appreciate. The baby stroller was a funny touch. Takeout only and there is barely any standing space.
Price: Fair. 6$ ish. Pretty average for boba theses days.
Food: I had an oolong tea with ginger and boba. DEEELICIOUS. He made it perfect sweetness, nice ginger flavor, boba was nice and sweet, and best of all — temperature was perfect to drink as soon as I received it. Not too hot but still nice and toasty to keep me warm.
Service: The guy was a little quiet but he was nice. Answered my question on the menu, offered to “fix” the drink if the 75% sweetness wasn’t sweet enough.
NTT [[Next Time Try]]: My next go to would be a lemon and honey tea. I’ll give that a whirl next time.
Thank me later ;) Smile, eat, hydrate. Live honest and don’t settle. Hope to see you...
