Hi, I’ve never left a review for anything in my entire 33 years, but I felt compelled to share my experience. I want to highlight Jessica at the Hester location in Chinatown, who went above and beyond to help me during a work crisis.

My company has a long-standing account with UPS and uses their services daily. But this month, due to renovations in our studio, I’ve had to ship packages in person rather than having them picked up. On Monday, I was rushing to catch an 8 PM flight and desperately needed to overnight a package to a client in LA. I was just two blocks away from the Centre St. location (217 Centre St, New York, NY 10013) and thought it would be a quick and simple process.

All I needed was a small box and to print a shipping label I had already prepared through our UPS account. It seemed straightforward enough. But when I arrived, I was met with frustration. Three employees were behind the counter, and one asked what I needed. When I explained, he told me they couldn’t print the label for me and directed me to use the computer across the room.

I told him I was in a rush and asked if they could create a new label and charge it to our account instead. He initially said yes, but then changed his answer, saying it wasn’t possible and I’d have to pay separately for both the label and the box. The entire interaction felt dismissive and unhelpful.

Frustrated and running out of time, I left. I walked six blocks to the Hester St. location, feeling overwhelmed and defeated. But then I met Jessica. I explained my situation, and she immediately took charge. She allowed me to email her the shipping label, quickly got me the materials I needed, and had me out the door in 10 minutes. Her kindness and efficiency were such a relief after the stress I had just experienced.

The service at the Centre St. location left me feeling invisible and disheartened, as though my time and loyalty as a long-standing customer didn’t matter. But Jessica turned my evening around. Moving forward, I’ll stick to the Hester location, where I know I’ll be treated with care...

I stumbled upon the new UPS Store in Chinatown and had a fantastic experience. The staff was super friendly and helpful from the moment I walked in. They've got everything well-organized and clean, which made shipping a breeze.

What really impressed me was how quick and efficient they were. Whether I was sending a package across town or overseas, they made sure it was done securely and on time. Plus, they offered some great packing tips.

Overall, this UPS Store is a gem in Chinatown. If you need reliable shipping and friendly service, this is the place to go....

So glad this UPS store opened up in the neighborhood. Th staff goes above and beyond to give a helping hand and make things as easy as possible. I don’t have the opportunity to get packages delivered to my building and having them delivered here gives me peace of mind and the ease of seamless affordable pick up.
