Was searching for Asian food that wasn't crazy expensive near Times Square and came here on a whim. Unassuming place that you'd probably pass by without glancing twice, but it is a nice quiet retreat from the hustle, bustle, and noise from the streets. Very clean inside and when I went for dinner, there was already handful of people eating - not loud at all and very roomy with plenty of seating.
With so many choices to choose from, I ended up ordering the chicken teriyaki bento box. Plentiful chicken over rice with vegetables, springrolls, and shrimp tempura. Shrimp tempura was warm and crisp, side of vegetables were good, but the star is the teriyaki chicken over fried rice. Nicely seasoned, seared, and sauced. Very delicious and definitely a great bang for your buck. I'll eat here again next time I visit NYC - perfect recommendation for everyone looking for quality tasty food at a reasonable price in the Times...
Read more!!! WARNING: THE RESTAURANT OWNER BUYS 5 STAR REVIEWS BY GIVING CONSUMERS FREE ICE CREAM !!!
If I could have chosen a 0 star review I would have but I can’t so I gave it a 1 star review. The food was horrible, the egg roll was cold and rock hard, the ramen was soggy, the beef was disgusting, the miso soup felt like it was from a packet and was heated in the microwave, the lo mien was greasy and the shrimp felt like I was eating rubber and didn’t taste that good too.
The restaurant didn’t have any service, You just order your own food and they will have to cook it and you will also have to pick up your own food. The restaurant didn’t have any waitresses and the cooks seemed to give 0 effort when making the food since my egg roll wasn’t even microwaved.
Overall, the food and the service are horrible, don’t waste your time...
Read moreI got the California Roll, a chicken Bento box and Steak bento box. Everything was delicious. I don't eat sushi but my 6 year old granddaughter loves California Rolls and wanted me to try it and it was extremely easy. So much that I ended up eating 3 of them and I only stopped because she was really enjoying them. I did bargain with her and let her keep a spring roll, the shrimp tempura and a couple pieces of my steak meat. She and I both agreed the food was extremely good and for her to be so picky when it comes to food, yeah, they definitely passed the "FOOD WAS THE BOMB" test. When we come back to NY, best believe we will be stopping there. Customer Service skills was on point too. Great job guys (that was all I seen servicing the customers). Oh and the lemonade is by far the best lemonade I've...
