[The Monnroe] had their pre-Grand Opening event on Thursday evening, February 20th from 6:00-8:00 PM. Most of the attendees were part of an ongoing series of art lectures and sessions held in various locations across the city by the lead instructor. A group of New York based intellectuals and professionals from a wide range of disciplines who form these art classes. The interior space as described by its proprietor [Drew] said “We just opened tonight,” and described it as a newly renovated performance space within a Victorian-styled bar and cafe, which welcomes everyone.
