Read moreI have a question to the manager of this place, do you give customer service training to your employees?
On Saturday June 17, 2023, I had a bad experience in that place with one of his collaborators (bartender) for the simple fact of asking him for some drinks for my table since he did not attend me, the employee behaved in a very bad character to the point of insulting me in front of everyone, however, he also insulted some of my colleagues hours after we left because of a bad moment.
One of his employees (waitress) came up to me to ask what happened and he told her that I had asked him to bring the drinks to the table when that didn't happen like that, since it's not the first time I've visited the place. In the same way,

Read moreThis modern Irish pub is an Upper East Side gem. The atmosphere is warm and very inviting. Cozy when not full, and a bustle when full.
To be clear, what makes The Raven a gem is really due to the friendly, knowledgeable and energetic staff.
The Staff is Key: The female and male bartenders (names redacted here) serve everyone (young to old!) efficiently with their fantastic and distinct warm Irish personalities. If you are a 'regular,' they know what to pour. Great mixologist skills. They even manage to cover table service too, and this is no breeze when it's game day/night. They cover it all with a watchful eye. Really excellent . [I am not a diner, but many come for the food selection, and I hear many surprised happy foodie comments.]
Oh yes, the TV access is wide with multiple game selections -- when it's doable within reason. Bartender staff manages this well too. Talk about multitaskers!
