We ordered the Dan Dan noodles. They are not Dan Dan noodles. Has anyone actually had the authentic versions before they made this version for this market? Their dan dan noodles are udon noodles in some light sauce and chili oil. Why don’t you call it stir fry udon with chili oil? Dan dan noodles are made of flour. They are the hand pulled noodles. If you can’t use hand pulled noodles, you’re better off using spaghetti. They are tougher and have a bite. Udon noodles are made of rice. They are not hand pulled. They are thicker and have a less bite. We were so disappointed. I’m sure most people who eat here have no idea what any real Asian cuisine is considering there’s such a small population of Asians in Miami. And I think moat Asian restaurants are owned by Latins. Not trying to make a big deal but this is like I made a grilled cheese sandwich with ham and called it a Cuban sandwich.

I stopped in here for a quick lunch right after getting to my hotel in Miami Beach and I'm so glad I did! I ordered the Dan Dan noodles and the were incredible! I loved the dining experience so much I came back a couple days later to try to cold citrus noodles and was equally happy - a perfect light (but filling) meal on a hot day! My only regret is that I was only in town for a couple days and didn't get to try more of the menu. There are a handful of other plant-based options in Time Out, but Rogue Panda really stands out by being the only fully vegan spot so you know you're getting something really crafted with flavor in mind. I wouldn't say anything here is necessarily "traditional" - so if that's what you're looking for, you might be disappointed, but if you're just looking for good food with solid flavor that is inspired by Chinese cuisine, you can't go wrong here.

I got pulled in by the overwhelming positive reviews about the vegan Chinese food. They were not lying. I've had a lot of dan dan noodles but this was the best dan dan noodles I have ever had! Flavor, texture, presentation, everything was A+. The dumplings were also amazing! Lots of complex flavors going on in those little packets of deliciousness. However the dipping sauce was uninspired. I did not realize this was essentially a food court, so not the best atmosphere. My dinner was pricey with two items plus a drink. That's $40 right there, plus tip, although that might be typical for Brooklyn Dumbo area. I was on a business trip so could afford to splurge, but if you are on a budget, beware.

I dined at Rogue Panda because of the 4.9-star review but I have to say, I was so disappointed once I got there and saw the few menu selections. I was having issues with my phone's internet speed before going so, I didn't get to pull up the menu before going and didn't see that this is essentially vegan fast food with everything containing Impossible meat. As a vegetarian that shows lack on ingenuity and makes me question whether there's a real vegan behind the kitchen or as the owner. But let me move on to the noodles I bought, they were oily, kind of flavorless and had very little "meat." Although, that's not a terrible thing, because the meat tasted too much like Cuban picadillo in what was supposed to be an Asian-inspired dish. Flavors were just not right and neither were the ingredients. The people giving this place high ratings have to be non-vegans and frequenters of the fast...
