I live in the neighborhood and appreciate the quiet vibe at Think. But wow, the cashiers are unkind and rude, and ruin the experience. Today I finally felt compelled to write a review. The cashier was was an older gentleman in training (black hat in picture) who was generally short with me. That’s fine, you aren’t required to be extra nice, I’m just here for the coffee. But when I asked for my hot coffee to be for here, he ignored me and began speaking to the other staff in Spanish about other orders (I also speak Spanish…). I asked again about getting a mug to stay; he ignored me a second time until I asked the cashier who had been training him; he awkwardly stepped in and diffused the tension. Listen, I don’t mind NY coldness or the zero eye contact - but hearing a customer order should probably be a baseline...

It was good, but not great. I asked for egg and cheese (which is a sandwich option) and asked if I could have it on a bagel (which was available) but she said no. And she was grumpy about it. I had to pick a bread. I mean... what’s the difference? If it’s a price thing, just tell me and I’ll pay the difference. So I just had a plain bagel with cream cheese. Granted, it tasted great. The only other reason I don’t give it five stars is that they don’t have WiFi. It seems like a place to sit and work with all the plugs everywhere, but they don’t provide WiFi. I don’t know if they have control of this part, but when you search ā€œcafes with WiFiā€ on Google Maps, this place pops up. So I was disappointed to not have WiFi while I was writing for a minute. Again, not terrible. Great atmosphere, good food, not...

Its true I've experienced better; this is more of an observations than anything, for one there is no Wi-Fi( which many people complain about) secondly people who have higher power than the workers do not seem to do the job of being a higher power CORRECTLY, the staff doesn't seem to get much empathy, I've seen some workers whom seem to be sick STILL work. I've been to this store at night and the workers whom are there are a peach, I've seen some things that are not fair for those poor workers, and even as a customer you can see whom works harder than the others and those people should be noticed. But overall this is a decent place with more than...

This afternoon my Macchiato was delicious. I asked for a single shot as if I was given two shots I would have been awake for a week. As I sat at a table it was given in a china cup and saucer. The barista helped me pick out something to eat. Blueberry muffin. This was toothsome and I enjoyed it. I told this ā€œShe Who Is Namelessā€ barista that usually the baked items have been less than good and I often wasted money. Today I was happy. This cafe has been here for quite some time and has both indoor and outdoor seating.

Checked out their menu and got a breakfast quesadilla for a little over $8. The girl at the register said it was really good and she really liked it. What I received is shown: a square of some kind of unseasoned egg with cheese on one side of the quesadilla, the corn tortilla was super hard (literally stale) and like one leaf of what I think was spinach. It came with a sauce that was good but not good enough to redeem it. I literally would never serve this thing to anyone and was so upset I paid $8 for it.
