This restaurant blew my mind. Everything was delicious. Started with the watermelon juice, fresh squeezed. Refreshing and beautiful. Everything is esthetically beautifully made. All the juices are hand pressed. The cherry blossom matcha was clean, herbaceous and had the right sweetness. The Honey Lavender Latte was Lavender forward but not bitter. Just perfect. The ham and cheese croquettas were the best I've ever had. Perfect fill to bread ratio. The ham and cheese flavors came out vibrant and tasty dipped into the sauce. The North Jersey Cubano was incredible. The salami was crispy and fresh pickle came through with layers of flavors. Definitely reminded me of a good NJ/NY deli blend with the best Cuban sandwich. The bread is incredible. The Media Noche was fantastic. The sweet bread and mustard blends perfect. The bread here is sureal. The Mojo Chicken was healthy and delicious. The chicken was fresh and flavorful. Mojo sauce made me feel healthy and dangerous. Lol. I loved the tostones and light bright dipping sauce. The cafecito was like no other I've had. The whip the sweet foam into this paste. Do not skip this, nor dipping it into the tostado. Outrageous. Amazing. We had 2 desserts. Both good. 2 guava pastries. Guava puff light with a pop of gauva. Gauva paste cream cheese creamy heaven. Reminds me of childhood. We spent 3 hours here. Its definitely a fun cafe to spend the day at. Albert, Joshua and the cook were so sweet.

Yesterday, I had an amazing lunch at Tico's Cafeteria in Bushwick, Brooklyn. This Cuban spot offers a fantastic counter-service style with table delivery. The mojitos were a highlight—perfectly balanced, not too sweet, and beautifully presented with sugar cane, ideal for a hot day. I ordered the chorizo burger, which was a standout. It came intricately made with matchstick fries inside the bun and a delicious sauce, truly a treat for the taste buds. My friend had the Cuban sandwich, and it was incredible, full of flavor and authenticity. The owner was super friendly, even mistaking my friend for a Cuban, which added a fun touch to our visit. The Gen Z staff were attentive and cheerful, making the atmosphere lively and welcoming. Overall, Tico's Cafeteria is a charming and vibrant place, worth the long walk from my neighborhood in Brooklyn. Highly recommend for anyone craving a delicious Cuban meal in a fun setting!

For Cuban food in bushwick, this is the spot. A small cafe vibes that you could work out of or have breakfast/lunch with neighbors. The cafe has a wide selection of food and drink options. The scramble plate and breakfast frita were good and definitely a value. The empanadas are a must try. No table service, so no need to tip. However, remember to clean up after yourself and put your plates, cups, and trays away once you’re done. Staff is friendly and bathroom clean would definitely come back or spend some time working out of this cafe in the future!

We ordered the grill chicken platter which comes with white rice, black beans and maduros. The presentation was ehhh and the chicken was extremely salty. My wife ordered the garlic lime shrimp over salad was salty and expensive for six pieces of shrimp (no taste of garlic lime and overcooked frozen shrimps). We know the price of shrimps and the type they used, they can’t be cheap with the shrimp given the price they charged. Service was non existence, our server spoke not a word during the order and never once check on the table. We will never come back to this...
