0/10, do not recommend. I just had the worst experience at this restaurant. I went there to unwind from work and had a terrible service. I felt as though other customers were treated better than my friend and I, they even ordered the same food as us and their nachos had extra toppings on top. The waiter was probably annoyed from when we walked in because we asked to move since there was a bug on the window. Then we said we didn’t want salt on the rim of our margarita and felt she was annoyed because we didn’t say that off the jump but she also didn’t ask if that was ok. The quesadillas barely had cheese and the chicken in it was terrible. I’ve never had quesadillas like this any where and I’m a big fan of Mexican food. I told her it was bad and she said that’s how they season it instead of looking for a solution. At the end of our service I asked if she could do anything about the quesadillas which we didn’t eat and she offered to give us a discount then decided she would rather give us something which she said it would be 2 large margaritas in one and Was the same small one. It seemed as though the staff were all speaking about our situation and that was awkward. The best part of this might’ve been the music. Overall, I’m just frustrated because I’ve been wanting to stop at this restaurant for a minute and it was a huge...
Read moreWe ended up here because our first choice was booked for a private party and I'm pleased that we did! Place was crowded, tables are a bit tight, but that's ok. Some space opened up once the 7pm theater crews headed out for their curtains.
We had the premium margarita, the app of flautas that they subbed in flour tortilla for us. The chicken inside was a little bland, but I have found that can be common in many Mexican restaurants. The beans and sauce it was served with were yummy! My husband had the pork chimichanga and I had the steak ranchero. The chimichanga was full of flavor and a decent portion. The steak was cooked to the temperature that I requested and pretty good!
I think the price points for some of the items on the menu are a high, but I'm also from NJ/NY and used to that city surcharge... but still, that wasn't a $34.00 steak. The server was very attentive and even surprised up with two shots.
All in all, not a bad place to visit for some Mexican food that is good and in a great location if you're seeing a show - just be prepared for the bill at the end. Oh... if you don't want a drink that literally flashes - ask them to not put the blinking colored light in your margarita, it can be a little...
Read moreOkay please read between the lines here. The food is okay The wait staff are fantastic and the location is good.
However, the management could benefit from additional training on how to treat customers. The additional training would include lessons about how being too draconian is not going to be beneficial.
I'm my situation, six of my family were having dinner and three of the additional members were late. The original six members ordered. When the additional three members arrived and asked to join us at the table next to ours, the manager said no as the adjoining table was for a group larger than three people.
The manager went on to say that if they wanted to eat there, they would have to sit at another table across the facility.
Further, it seemed ironic that in this situation the restaurant was almost empty at the time and that in the next hour there were no new customers seated. Clearly in this case the management was much more rigid than reasonable.
This is unfortunate and I do want to mention that I normally do not get anything but...
