TP TEA 茶湯會 (Columbus Circle, NY) — Restaurant in New York

There’s absolutely no consistency in the amount of boba you get. The picture with one drink is from my first visit where they gave a generous amount of boba. The picture of two drinks is from tonight. It’s crazy how between the three drinks, there are dramatically different amounts of boba in each drink. All three drinks have one serving of boba added so they should all have the same amount. I’m curious to know how they measure boba. We did go 30minutes before closing so they could’ve been running out and were being conservative with their boba, but if that’s the case, they should’ve marked it out of stock why would they serve us fraction of a proper portion of...

I paid almost $10 for a drink and specified less ice. The employee was training a new hire and not only did they put regular ice, they added more ice towards the end because it wasn’t full enough. When I mentioned that it’s not less ice the guy doing the training side it was and then doubled down and said it’s because the other guys is training and sometimes gets the measurement wrong… He has a little attitude as well. After all of it he did say that he could remake it. But I was over it at this point and the place started getting packed. I am honestly disappointed, especially as this was my first time trying this place. I will not...

It’s great to have a good bubble tea spot near my office. I used to take the train to time square for a decent bubble tea, this one is minutes from the office. Love the new addition to the neighborhood.

It’s fairly new, so I haven’t tried the full menu yet. Of the ones I did try, the osmanthus teas are a great change from most of the fruit and milk teas I’ve been having lately. Their milk tea is also great though, for someone who is lactose intolerant, I’m willing to take lactaid pills just to have these occasionally.

Haven’t had their little cakes yet, every time I’m there, they’re sold out. Hope to try...
