I, too, was Mira B.'s faithful customer from the Brooklyn location and I followed her to the Columbus Circle location! She's been my faithful waxer for almost 2 years now! I switched over to her exactly 3 months before she gave birth to her son in December 2017. Those 3 months she was on maternity leave were the worst (for me), haha! She is THEE BEST!!!! She never disappoints!!!

Extremely friendly, gentle, thorough and sweet! If you're a talker like me, it also helps that she makes you feel like family by remembering your name, giving you a warm welcome EACH visit, and asks for detail updates about you (and your family) that you have previously shared with her during previous visits! Mira will always make time for you! She has waited late at work for me on holidays when the location closes earlier than normal, just to help me out!! She's always just a phone call away for her loyal customers!

She makes sure you're extra comfortable with her during the waxing process to make it go even smoother! Not only does she make sure ALL of those pesky hairs are gone, but she ALWAYS gives an ice pack and extra smoothing gel to make sure your pores are COMPLETELY closed to prevent any ingrown hairs from coming in. She's honest and gives plenty of tips on waxing care up until your next visit with her. I LOVE her and so will you!!

Beware. Dishonest staff. I did a reservation online for three services. The reservation clearly listed the services and the ticket the attendant had clearly listed the services. Instead of performing my third service she performed a significantly more costly service. By the time I realized she was doing the wrong thing I was half slathered in wax. Stopping that unrequested service would have left me looking ridiculous so she completed it.

When I went to check out, they refused to take the service I didn't request off the bill even though the attendant had clearly made a mistake. I neither wanted nor ordered the service she performed. They refused to take it off the bill even when they themselves were admitting they had made the mistake.

The front desk girl then had the gall to say the best she could do is give me a 25% discount on my next 1 service. That wouldn't even cover the cost of what they just stole from me and why the hell would I go back to a place ripping me off to my face? I would highly recommend caution here because apparently they will just run up your bill by slapping wax on areas you didn't request.

This was my first wax in over 10 years. Johana my aesthetician and the Front desk coordinator (who’s name I didn’t catch) provided phenomenal customer service and were very informative . Johana , was impeccable all around ; from the moment that I came in til the ending of the service. She was very thorough and informative, not to mention time efficient (took no more than 20min) for a full Brazilian. Of course , having came in after 10 years for a wax was very nerve wrecking for me , nonetheless my aesthetician made me feel very comfortable and at ease. The overall experience was delightful.
