Over priced, drunk server, rude staff, and counts children as adults. 1. Older Hispanic lady aggressively attempted to upsell us their guacamole; $13 for one avocado and $17 for 2 avocados. My burrito was the most expensive I've ever had and only had a scant amount of chicken. It was mostly rice and veggies. This quality of food does not match their pricing. 2. We had three different servers throughout our dining experience. The last server brought us the check 3/4 of the way as we were eating our meal and appeared intoxicated. After handing him my card and noticing the automatic 20% gratuity charge, I drew a line across the tip line. He returned a few minutes later confronting me about not leaving a tip. I told him the gratuity was already charged and that I did not intend to leave an additional tip. His responses were slurred, his gait unsteady, eyes glassy, and obviously intoxicated. I cut my conversation short with him at that point. 3. We were a party of 3 adults and 2 children under 9yo. The kids were counted as adults when calculating the party size. 4. Overall, my experience was extremely poor. I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone nor will I return. 5. Since I'm a positive person, I will say that their background music was nice.

I've been here often and usually the food and all is great. However, this visit left us disappointed. After reading the menu, we asked questions and expected the food to be made as explained & requested. For example: asked if they still have chimichanga available and would it be crispy with nothing on it and they respond yes, one expects just that. But instead, they put crema and shredded lettuce right on (instead of the side), making the chimichanga quite soggy. The sweet plantains looked extremely sweet and was so excited to try them but immediately grossed out at the old oil taste. Then the salad came in a shell that was very obviously cooked in the same old oil and tasted sweet like the plantains instead of salty. Also ordered nachos with grilled steak alone, but it came with refried beans, chili beef as well as steak, and quacamole. I didn't send it back bc I didn't want to be wasteful so gave my husband the guac and tried to pick out the steak as I really dislike chili beef; and left the refried beans as I loathe them and not a fan of soft mushy chips. The service was friendly but could be improved at taking instructions and explaining how the dishes are prepared.

I went to Mole Cantina restaurant because it had good reviews. I order tacos with meat but they did not have, which was very surprising. Maybe because on the menu it was not that expensive. I decided to order Pico de gallo & jalapeño Nachos. To my surprise it was not that great. Very little chicken and sauce , jalapeño and cheese. I had also ordered drinks during happy hours 4 fruit and mongo margaritas, happy hour price was expensive at $12 ea and when served it had more ice than liquor and not able to taste the fruits. I also decided to order Bisteck A La Mexicana, the food was a little too much salt , its rice tasted like box rice and dry. The service was ok , and the waitress was very attentive and I did express my concern of the food and drinks. That is why I gave it a 2 stars. I think they need a chef that knows how to cook authentic Mexican dishes. As a business owner who travels a lot, I try to go to different restaurants to try different ethnic foods and dishes.

I live right up the block and this is My third time there and I must say this is my worst of the three, its a Monday the place wasn't busy which is why I took my friend there so we could eat drink and catch up,if it was busy I could understand if it was busy and we were keeping a table from getting turned! but it was and we weren't ,I'm in the hospitality business so I know we were not but even so there's no need to make your guests feel uncomfortable and rushed,I liked this place but its now been crossed of my list of places to return to in my neighborhood,if you've worked in a restaurant wether you're new or not you know if someone is done with their food or not just by peaking over and looking at the plates,IT DOES NOT NEED FOUR PEOPLE TO FIGURE THAT OUT DOES IT? maybe I'm wrong, and out of that 4 none of those were our actual server (ROSIE) who was really nice and knew what she was doing and was unaware of the other 4 workers who tried to clear our table which after not even finishing our meal we just let them take it because we were already annoyed, we asked for a manager who never came until our server (ROSIE) came and we explained to her what had happened and she tried to fix which we really appreciated but it wasn't her job to fix because we had no issue with her, after the manager (OSCAR) came over he tried explaining the situation to us and quite frankly sounded extremely inexperienced in doing so to the point we had to finish his sentences for him,he said that their were new staff in training! if that's the case why are they on the floor by themselves instead of trailing a trainer? I don't usually write reviews but I feel I had to because my experience was not a good one at all and i I felt like I was being inderectly thrown out,and the manager (OSCAR) said he would take care of the bill which means nothing to me that's not the point and I told him that so in doing so nothing was done to the bill, which if fine but don't say you will take care of something and because the customer said its OK you don't have to do anything (that's what we're suppose to say) doesn't really mean on don't do anything ,I'll stop at this point because its pointless but I'm never going back there and I'll make sure anyone I know never goes there, I'm a chef at a 5star restaurant so I like trying new things I just moved to the neighborhood a year ago so I'm still trying new things a places and that's one place I'm never going back and I'm never taking my girl friend and she loves Mexican food, thank you ROSIE for doing your job and trying to do the managers job (maybe she should be manager) you were great thanks for nothing OSCAR....GOOD NIGHT...
