TLDR: Beautiful interior, disgusting food, terrible service, just don't come unless you want to swing in, have a beer/drink for 5 min and get some nice photos of inside.

Food was tasteless, had the dumplings scallion pancake and bbq pork bun. Everything was obviously frozen, food came out extremely fast but they serve lukewarm food. No flavor to any of these dishes even after drowned in chili oil and hot sauce. Got a Tsingtao beer and it was warm. Fried chicken dumplings are soggy, bbq pork bun probably had about half an oz of meat in the whole bun. The scallion pancake was stale, not flaky at all, so flavorless it was just beyond my imagination. Also had the mapo tofu, flavor finally came but the tofu was completely off, instead of soft tofu they use firm tofu and just makes the whole dish very unpleasant. Out of the whole meal the most I ate out of any dish was about 4 spoonfuls of white rice covered in mapo tofu sauce. Interior is beautiful but I wish they would've done the same with the bathroom, interior makes you feel you are at a nice proper restaurant and the bathroom makes you feel like you stepped into below chinese fast food spot.

Service was extremely subpar, waitress didn't seem to care at all about anything, extremely unmotivated didn't seem like any of the staff even want to work here. While leaving, we were blocked by a server and a host in the only doorway entering/exiting the restaurant while smoking cigarettes, not the end of the world but is it really that hard to walk 2 feet into the street where you are not directly smoking and having second hand smoke go into the dining room. All honesty, while service was terrible at best, but I can't even say I really blame any of the service staff. The decor is beautiful but literally everything else about the restaurant makes it so unbearable. Even as a customer I barely wanted to stay there, I can't imagine what it's like to be service staff here and have to see this everyday. Customers are most likely constantly not finishing food or are just completely turned away by it. The waitress had came up to ask if we were finished with our dishes and after she began to clear some plates (one plate had all the scallion pancake still there except for two) she didn't even seem surprised that we had not finished it.

Please save yourself the trouble and do not come here, honestly even as a last resort I would rather have quite literally anything else but this, the cheapest cup noodle you can find will have more flavor in it than the dishes here. Fast food, random halal cart, even deli food is substantially better than this place.

For the owners, if you're going to use frozen food pick better quality at least and not complete bottom shelf stuff. The concept isn't terrible but the lack of effort and/or inexperience from upper management/owners is very apparent from the food to service...

I stopped by with my husband at around 5pm. The restaurant was fairly empty so we were greeted and seated right away. We chose to sit inside but they had tables outside as well. The inside seating was next to a big open window which was nice. The decor as pretty and the playlist was awesome. We started with the pickled veggies and wings for our appetizers. The veggies were flavorful and crunchy. We didn’t realize they would be cold, but they were very tasty so we didn’t mind. The wings were hot, crispy and spicy. My husband ordered the Tequila- La drink which tasted like a spicy margarita. It was delicious but had a definite kick so if you don’t like spicy, I wouldn’t recommend it. We both enjoyed it. I had a drink that had a nice ginger flavor. Can’t remember the name (we had 2 drinks each). The bartender and waiter were both friendly and attentive. For mains, we had the Hai Pai beef and the house special lo mein. Both were delicious. I loved that every dish was piping hot. My only regret is that we had snacks at the Mets game before coming to Wei’s. I couldn’t finish all of my food but look forward to the leftovers tomorrow. Will...

Terrible customer service!!! The people that work here are very racist especially the white waiter. Immediately after me and my friend walked into the restaurant, he had this sarcastic and judgy attitude. In addition, he kept correcting me and my friend after we said something under his breath, especially to my friend which I found highly disrespectful. Like we’ve never been to a restaurant where we are being corrected because of an accent or because we mispronounced something specially out of bad intentions. He also made my friend repeat her request for a fork like three times pretending he couldn’t understand, but instead he did it out of disrespect to her accent even though she said it loud and clear making it evident by the nasty smirk he had. It was just bad vibes all around that place with his racist attitude, we were so uncomfortable and felt like he was judging our every move. Not to mention the food wasn’t even that good. I hope you can be a mature adult and learn to respect people next time. Overall, I would not recommend...

First time ordering from here and I expected more. Just like the other reviews that ordered takeout, my order was extremely subpar! Not only is it overpriced but it lacks flavor, and care for a to-go order. I got the sesame chicken because it was labeled as popular on Uber eats…idk how but my food was DRY, no sauce that the chicken was cooked in and there was one lovely cute broccoli on top..ONE. I even asked for extra sauce from cooking to be added in when packaging up the chicken; still received dry food. I was better off going to one of the regular local Chinese spots up the block where the food is made with care and it’s substantial for HALF the price I paid at Wei’s. And they at least add a regular amount of broccoli because that’s standard. Seems like they need to treat their take out orders with the same love and care they use for guests that dine in; those dine-in meal pics actually look appetizing. The pictures are literally night and day!

After seeing a post about Wei’s on IG, I knew I had to go. I’m a huge fan of dumplings so naturally this place was calling my name. Yesterday I finally checked it out with several friends (two who frequent Wei’s often) and enjoyed a few shared plates. We ordered soup dumplings (highly recommend!), garlic green beans (again, highly recommend!), spicy veggie wontons with chili oil (these weren’t spicy and for some reason had a strong taste of peanuts) and Wei’s Spicy Chicken which wasn’t spicy either. The food was good but what really made the experience was the ambience - a DJ was spinning at the end of the bar which created a super cool late night vibe as we dined. I’d come back.
