Wolfnights - The Gourmet Wrap — Restaurant in New York

Good wraps made in typically 10-20 minutes if you order ahead, or 5-10 minutes if you walk in the store. The wrap combinations are interesting and pretty varied with lots of substitution options so there is pretty much something for everyone. This location has been clean when I've visited (typically for pickup through their app), and the servers trying to help quickly.

Since they've moved in their business seems to be both good and increasing. There are a chairs they put outside if you need a quick spot to eat.

Update 11/2/2022: The above was made sometime in the late fall 2021, I have since adjusted the stars steadily down from the original 4/5 to a 1/5. Their service and food quality has gone downhill. Their app no longer works, they don't take orders over the phone. Yesterday, we placed an order online, were notified by text that it was ready, walked the 3 minutes to the place, and we still had to wait 10 minutes for our order to be made. What's worse, the wraps in our order had a terrible distribution of ingredients (to be fair this has never been their strong-suit), and the chicken was hard and burnt. See photo. Changed review to 1/5 stars.

Update 12/16/22: Ventured back with trepidation, it was THE BEST wrap we have had from this place, will come back, but still wary. Changed review to 3/5 stars.

Update 1/24/23: Have ordered multiple times since the last review, each time has been great. Thank you for improving. Keep up the good work and tasty food. Changed review to 5/5 stars.

Update 1/15/24: It's back on a downward trajectory. On a recent Saturday lunch order had a) an eggshell in a wrap, and b) had two wraps with items that had been specifically UNrequested on the Wolfnights app, and c) the food wasn't ready in their stated window. Back to 3/5.

Update 8/28/24: Food has been consistently good of late (some slightly overcooked chicken once) and they've been very quick with the prep. Keep up the...

I’ve been to this place several times and the food is def good. But the service is absolutely TERRIBLE!!!!!! There is little to NO training at this place. The people there are not qualified to work here. Firstly , entered and asked for a custom Dire Wolf wrap…the person at the register kept telling me “no” when I asked for toppings. Asking me what I “wanted to replace it with” What ?! After explaining to him again what I wanted he kept telling me no. That was a whole ordeal in itself, I repeated my order 3x and thats something I don’t even want to get into depth with bc it was back and forth.

So I go to pay and the card reader dings as if it charged. But the worker insisted that it didn’t and asks me to repeat my order again for the 4th time. He then states that I need to pay cash. Then stated I need to order online bc the order has to “go through the system”.. again…. WHAT???!! So I go out and get cash, pay in cash. And they have no change….

But it gets better

As i am leaving I hear the card machine ding SEVERAL TIMES. And I check my card account and see several transactions from them.

It gets better. The guy at the register thinks that the transaction on my card is the cash that I just paid and that I don’t “need a refund”.

I was there for OVER an hour. Just to get 2 wraps and it turned into a horrible mess.

I am writing this annoying review to bring light to the fact that this is NOT the first time I’ve dealt with incompetence in this restaurant.

Please TRAIN YOUR EMPLOYEES better.

I won’t be back again. There are other sister stores I’ll go to. I’ll make the trip bc this...

TLDR: great combos and a variety of options, sure to please many palates. Please clean up your practices to ensure everyone stays safe and healthy.

Full review: I've visited multiple times. I love the unique combinations. The wraps all come with 2 large handfuls of greens, which is nice. It's like a salad but inside a delicious, unique, handmade wrap!

Carnivores Delight wrap w/o modification-- very yummy 9/10 Dire Wolf wrap w/o modification. It was OK. Peppers were SPICY! Cheese and bacon felt heavy. 6/10 Once Bitten w/o modification. Tasty. Felt healthy. 7.5/10 A downside is I saw a staff go outside, and down into the basement wearing gloves (and obviously touching the latch on the ground and construction cone). They came back up with food, didn't change their gloves, and proceeded to restock with dirty gloves. Additionally, I agree with some other reviewers that this isn't the best place if you have allergies. The staff regularly reach their gloved hands from one container to the next (Ie: a cheese container into another); for someone with troublesome allergies there is definitely cross...
