Goumas Candyland — Restaurant in Newark

Goumas is a treat with delicious old fashioned candy, most of which I believe is homemade. Was the feel of an Old Time Candy shop, it's always a pleasure to come in with the kids and pick out a little of what we would each like. The store is very clean and welcoming as are the attendance there. The treats are a little expensive, but I suppose you're paying for quality. And their "mint meltaways"...

First time and was happy with their products. Find them located downtown across from the courthouse.

They offer one and two pound pre assorted boxes. Or you can build your own from the case. The staff was helpful and friendly during my November visit. Prices are high for chocolates these days, but likely similar to others.

Been getting great candy here for more years than I can remember. I have never been disappointed with quality or service. If you've never been here it's definitely a place you need to come to. Mrs Shoemaker is one of the nicest..knowledgeable friendly and professional people I've met. She can hook you up with the best tasting treats ever. I would give this place 10...
