Robert's Pizzeria — Restaurant in Newark

The people who work here are so incredibly friendly, funny and engaging with customers. They are so welcoming and make you feel part of the family. So far we have exclusively eaten the pizza bc in our humble opinion its thee best in the area which is saying something bc Jerzy pizza rivals NYC pizza. I am going to encourage Mr. PORTNOY "one bite" to come and try Robert's pizza. The sauce is banging, the cheese is hot with incredible pull and the crust is soft enough to eat easily yet still has a nice crunch. You can ask them to leave it in the oven for an extra minute or two if you want a crisper bottom bc sometimes the sauce and cheese is so good and so hot it can weigh down the slice if the bottom isn't crisp enough All depends on your own preference. I give the 6$ two plain slices and a drink deal a 8.9. I give the people a 10. ❤...

One of the worst experiences at a pizzeria ive ever had. Food here was not reflective of these reviews at all. We spent over $30 on two sandwiches and the first order came out cold .. the. Once the second order came it was old food! Burger wasnt cooked and it takes horrible. Tried to mask the past due quality with an excessive amount of salt. Bread wasnt the best and was dry. Best thing was the fact that the side of fries were somewhat hot. When we tried canceling our order they refused saying that the food was already done.. come on now.. smh thats the only reason we tried to still eat and overall the food quality and service was unacceptable. Not to mention everyone behind the counter looked filthy. Who’s writing these reviews? Kids? Bots? So...

Edit: UPGRADES INCOMING. The new TV's make the menu easier to read and the place looks a good bit more modern.

My last review was a bit cookie cutter, so here's the new one.

This place is the best part of working at Rutgers. It's the perfect type of pizza for me, a crunchy yet fluffy crust that has such a good mouth feel you'll be starstruck at the first bite.

Then the selection is great as well, of course you keep the basics handy, but they switch the fun ones up to keep it interesting. You'll always find one that you enjoy.

The staff, so much fun to the point where you one will always leave happy.

All and all, I'll end with this: If Zeus was Italian, he'd have a Robert's on Olympus instead of dull...
