Spontaneous tried this after having attempted to go to Tidal Raves (105 minute wait) and Local Ocean (45 minute wait), and when parking noticed this gem about four spots down with their "dumplings" sign and my significant other LOVES dumplings. Place was very quiet, but had an authenticity to it and the service was great. Our hostess was very polite and smiles. We ordered the Pork Shumai special, Chicken Dumplings, Chipotle Kobe Bao and the Spicy Dungeness Crab Tacos. Looks wise, the food looked great and smelt even better, but the taste was what sent us straight to the moon. My significant other absolutely loved all the food, but the standouts were the Shumai and the Dungeness Crab Tacos. For being a small "hole in the wall" restaurant, this was an amazing dumpling experience and highly recommend for those looking for an alternative to seafood down at the marina. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Coming from Pampanga—the culinary capital of the Philippines—I always look forward to trying Filipino food outside the homeland. I ordered their salmon sinigang, but honestly, it was way too sour. Even the tofu dish we got leaned the same way. On the brighter side, the siomai with its sauce and pancit with BBQ skewers was really delicious, and the scallops with curry? Absolutely superb! I just hope the restaurant embraces Filipino cuisine in its authentic form, not the other version. Filipino food has such a beautiful balance of flavors—maasim (sour), maalat (salty), malinamnam(umami)—that it deserves to shine the way it was meant to. That said, it’s refreshing to see Filipino food represented here. If you’re curious about our cuisine, it’s worth a visit—just know which dishes to go for. With a few tweaks, this place could easily become a favorite.

I've been here many times and every dish has been delicious. It is clear that the chef values using high quality and fresh local ingredients. The creativity is refreshing and the view is unmatched if it's a warm day and you sit outside. Yes, it has a small footprint in the way of seating, but brings a big punch when it comes to flavor. The chef tells a unique story through his menu about his experience, heritage and travels. Wait staff is fantastic. Menu does change fairly frequently and they will occasionally run out of popular dishes, but in my experience, that means everything is fresh, including the ambition to innovate. I hope Cuisinako is here for a long tenure. A must visit if you find yourself in Newport.

Our recent dining experience at Cuisinako, an Asian fusion restaurant renowned for its innovative culinary style, introduced us to a world of delightful flavors through their Seared Tuna Tiradito and Salmon Kilawin dishes. Each dish had its own unique qualities that left a lasting impression.

The Seared Tuna Tiradito was a true masterpiece. The beautifully seared tuna, sliced into delicate portions, offered a tantalizing texture that melted in our mouths. Its tenderness was complemented by a carefully curated blend of tangy citrus-based sauce and subtle Asian spices. The dish was a harmonious balance of flavors and textures, with each bite offering a satisfying fusion of smokiness and freshness. The presentation was equally captivating, showcasing vibrant colors and artful drizzles that enhanced our dining experience.

Equally enticing was the Salmon Kilawin, a dish that showcased the expertise of the culinary team at Cuisinako. The salmon, treated with utmost care, yielded a succulent and buttery texture. The dish brilliantly married Latin American and Asian flavors. The chef's attention to detail was evident, as the salmon was flawlessly marinated and impeccably served. The Salmon Kilawin encompassed a delicious interplay of acidity and umami notes, creating a memorable culinary experience that left us wanting more.

At Cuisinako, it wasn't just the individual elements of each dish that impressed us, but the overall dedication to quality and innovation. The freshness of the ingredients was apparent, elevating the flavor profiles of both the tuna and the salmon. The presentation of each dish was a work of art, displaying the culinary team's meticulousness and creativity.

The service at Cuisinako was impeccable throughout our meal. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic, ensuring that our dining experience was nothing short of exceptional.

In conclusion, Cuisinako's Seared Tuna Tiradito and Salmon Kilawin exemplify the restaurant's commitment to culinary excellence. The meticulous preparation, imaginative flavors, and exquisite presentation of these dishes reflect the skill and artistry of the culinary team. If you seek a memorable dining experience where Latin American and Asian influences harmonize flawlessly, Cuisinako is the perfect destination to indulge in both the Seared Tuna Tiradito and...

LAUREN is a boss! This was a lovely dinner. They have an absolutely beautiful ambiance with a view of the harbor just across the way. The chicken satay was deliciousiously tender. And all of their dumplings were VERY good! also! We love the pork and the kimchi the most. And we loved all of their dipping sauces.

BUT, I WILL SAY. IT WAS OUR SERVICE THAT STOOD OUT ABOVE ALL !!!!! Lauren knows every item on the menu and every detail! She understands the flavors and how they're all put together. Every single one of her recommendations is spot on. She also knew every single sake, whether they were sweet or dry, and which ones to drink with the meal you've ordered.

She answered every question with patience and detail. With an amazing sense of humor to boot. She was focused and on top of every need in the dining room. All the while being all by herself!

I will request Lauren as our server for every meal with my fingers crossed 🤞 We will probably end up making reservations for the nights that she works. Just wouldn't be the same without her.

We definitely recommend LAUREN and this...

We were looking forward to trying a new-to-us restaurant, especially dumplings, but we never got in. We were literally blocked from entering the facility by a server saying, “We don’t have wheelchair facilities”, repeating this twice while we looked on in amazement.

Part of our amazement was due to a ramp, seemingly available for anyone to use, sat in front of us. There was a broken table partially blocking the top of the ramp, but any one could have walked around it or moved it with ease. The server didn’t mention anything about something being wrong with the ramp, no mention of us getting something to go, nothing. She just walked away.

I’ve personally never been refused service in such a blatantly discriminatory manner, and I wonder why they took this tack. They could have offered us a number of different ways for us to patronize their business. They could have explained why they were unable to provide us service....
