Our visit to Breach the Moon Gallery was nothing short of a nightmare. The staff were extremely rude from the moment we walked in. As a page dedicated to sharing detailed reviews through photos and videos, we naturally started taking a video to capture the gallery's ambiance. Without so much as a greeting, we were rudely yelled at by a staff member, who barked that no photos or videos were allowed. Her tone was hostile and completely uncalled for. To make matters worse, there was no sign anywhere indicating that photos were prohibited.
We pride ourselves on respecting the rules and privacy of others, so we chose not to post the video of her outburst. However, what made the situation even more infuriating was discovering that the OWNERS and other visitors frequently post photos of the gallery themselves. This blatant hypocrisy left us feeling unwelcome and mistreated.
The experience was so off-putting that it overshadowed any potential enjoyment of the art itself. We came with the intent to promote and share the beauty of the gallery, but left feeling disrespected and frustrated. Read moreI decided to check out all the art galleries along the main drag, and this is easily the best one! Incredible original art, plus a cool fish tank. I purchased a gorgeous vase for my beach themed bathroom, and plan to make the trip out in the future just to collect more items from this artist, and perhaps whoever creates these amazing glass starfish as well! Someone else was buying one while I was there. The cashier was incredibly kind and personable while she wrapped up my art carefully with several layers of bubble tape. This gallery was advertised as selling art from the "finest artists this region has to offer" - per their website. When we purchased a vase, I inquired about the artist. The salesperson seemed reluctant to provide more information. I had wrongfully assumed this was purely due to lack of interest in her job. Turns out, the vase was MADE IN THAILAND and likely mass produced. Don't waste your money...
