My family and I have been dining at Moe's for YEARS. We originally started dining at the Moe's on Lynnhaven Parkway every Sunday after Church Services in Virginia Beach. Not olny was the Manager and Staff Above & Beyond Amazimg when it came to Friendliness and Customer Service, but it was also Kids Eat Free, and we couldn't beat that deal.
So, fast forward almost 10 years later, when our 13 & 14 year old are well above Kids Eat Free, unfortunately. Once the location in North Hampton opened, we started dining there, because it was closer to home, and gas prices weren't getting any cheaper. Although we missed the ambience of the Lynnhaven Location, it became more economical.
So, today was a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT, when we got to the register at the North Hampton location, and instead of the normal bill, it waa $5 more. I went back and nicely explained that my son was charged for a bowl, but he should have been charged for Nachos. The cashier asked me to wait a minute (She was a Sweetheart, just doing her job) and returned with the Shift Manager, I assume who began blaming the front line crew (who also did an Awesome Job) . He stated that my youngest son was charged a bowl because of his toppings, but with the exception of my Husband, we all had the same toppings. He even tried to explain that rice was extra, but my Husband, oldest and myself all had rice. We've been dining at Moe's for OVER 10 YEARS and I've never been told what was rolling off of his tongue today.
Needless to say, the Shift Manager's reasoning didn't get any better, so I just took a deep breathe and walked away without my refund. The cashier looked so sympathetic right before I walked away. I told her Thank You, but we won't be back. Once we got to the car, my oldest stated that I was rude for saying we will not be returning. I told him I didn't say it in a disrespectful manner, but the Shift Manager, if that's who he was, should know he's losing customers, even if he doesn't care.
So, next time we're in the mood for Moe's, we'll be heading back to the Lynnhaven Parkway location. I guess today was a sign that there's No Moe's, Like Our Original Moe's!

Service was the issue with man who got my food items seemed to care more than others.
