This place is so disorganized, dirty, and all the employees seem miserable. I went to the drive through on 8/3/19 and the first negative experience was the bushes surrounding the voice box- someone needs to remove them. I know this isn't entirely reflective on the business itself, but they attract large bugs, bees, and wasps that kept trying to fly into my car while I was ordering. The voice box also had no display so that I could ensure my order was entered correctly.
Second, after I was done paying, they were so backed up on orders even though they weren't busy that they were having cars pull over so they could bring the food out to them. What's the point in having a drive through then?
Third, I ordered 3 items with beans instead of beef, fresco style. They bring out my food and didnt even put napkins or sauce in the bag. I check my food, and all 3 items have cheese on them. So now I have to take more time, go into the restaurant, tell them they messed up, and wait for them to get it together. They also only had one girl on the cash register and they were pulling her off to go run food out so people were just waiting at the counter with no one acknowledging them.
Furthermore, all the tables had trash, soda, and it was very obvious that no one had attended to cleaning them or taking the trash out in a while.
I normally don't leave reviews if I don't have anything nice to say but this was probably the worst experience I've had at a Taco Bell. The reason I'm leaving 2 stars instead of 1 is because the manager did take time to come and apologize for the mistake, but other than that, I have no reason to ever come back to...
Read moreHey Taco Bell/KFC, can we chat for a moment? Reading through these reviews concerns me, alarmingly. I've been a shift lead in Charlottesville previously and would love the opportunity to hit a reset button for this location. We can really clean the place out, I have a few friends who would make a GREAT team. I hate hearing how this location appears not to care. It's the employees and the lack of assertive and attentive managers that probably just throw new employees on the line to figure it out for themselves. It's fast food, so I understand you get what you pay for, but I want to exceed expectations. I want to build a team that puts hard effort into the product Taco Bell advertises, especially for the location of this specific store. There's so much we can accomplish by working together, building consistent communication and hiring all brand new staff. People who WANT to show up and DO their job. If you'd like to have a conversation about the future, feel free to reach out! Please keep in mind that I'm not joking or giving sarcasm. I'm very serious and have FULL availability. Earnings are absolutely negotiable. Your store is loved by this community but has fallen off. What should we do if we fall? Pick ourselves back up and keep at it. That's how he take care of buisness and set the example for our staff. What do you say, TB/KFC? Want to rewrite your history? 🙂
I will change my 1 star rating if I hear back for you! Thank you for taking the time to read...
Read moreThis spot is a gem among fast-food joints, rocking an aesthetic appeal that’s clean, stylish, and downright inviting—honestly, it’s probably the best-looking combo location I’ve come across. The order speed is decent, though it can feel a bit sluggish during peak times, which makes sense given its busy beachside location; however, the cashier service more than makes up for it, especially with the friendly African American gentleman at the counter who’s always a highlight with his warm, welcoming vibe. That said, Yum Brands could step it up by adding a kiosk—a simple tweak that’d streamline orders and keep things moving. The lobby is solid, but here’s a pro tip: being so close to the Ocean View beach, they should toss in some wall outlets for charging phones or laptops—it’s a no-brainer that could lure in beachgoers looking to recharge (literally) after a day in the sun, setting this place apart from nearby Burger King and McDonald’s. As for the food, it’s a total win—delicious, hearty portions, zero complaints. All in all, this Taco Bell/KFC combo delivers a stellar experience with awesome eats, top-notch service, and just a couple of smart upgrades away from being...
