Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Norfolk

This is hands down the WORST experience I’ve ever had with Pizza Hut, and probably any restaurant. I threw away $40 on an absolute catastrophe of an order, and I’m furious!

First of all, let’s talk about the wings. The horrible excuse for a “sauce” they put on my boneless buffalo wings was revolting. But here’s the kicker: there was barely any sauce ON the wings. Instead, it was all over the pizza box, soaking through the cardboard and onto my pizza, turning it into a soggy, greasy, unappetizing mess. No one in their right mind would eat something that disgusting. And where was the basic common sense? No liner, nothing underneath the pizza to keep it clean. Just pure carelessness. You’d think a business with the word “Pizza” in its name would know how to handle a simple pizza order.

When I called to ask them why my order was a disaster, they gave me the most absurd excuse I’ve ever heard. Apparently, they assumed I wanted the “My Hut” box because that’s supposedly the only way I could get four boneless wings. What a joke! I checked the website myself — there are clear options to order 4 wings and a pan pizza separately. So why did they decide to throw everything together and let the sauce run all over my food? If the wings can only be ordered as part of a box, then don’t give me the option to order them separately! It’s misleading and shows either gross incompetence or sheer laziness.

But let’s say, even for argument’s sake, that this was a “Hut Box” — what kind of business sends out food without packaging it properly? This isn’t amateur hour, Pizza Hut, but you sure fooled me into thinking it was. The packaging was beyond sloppy. You completely ruined my pizza and left me with a disaster in a box. So what do I have to eat now? Just some fries, a drink, and a dessert. For $40. This is an absolute rip-off and a disgrace.

Pizza Hut, you’ve outdone yourselves in delivering one of the worst meals I’ve ever had the displeasure of receiving. You should be ashamed of this kind of service. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone, ever. Save your money and go somewhere where they actually care about your food and the experience you have with it. I’m done with Pizza Hut for good. First off. I would not even give this establishment a 1 star. I placed an order through there website. When i arrived 25 minutes later (was told it would only take 20 minutes). My order was not ready yet. People were standing around waiting for there orders as well. One lady i talked to said she had been waiting over an hour already.

The people working there were very rude. Giving no care to customer service. The phones were ringing almost non stop well i was there and no one cared to answer them. Note i was there waiting for my order for almost 2 hours.

What looked to be the head person on the clock at the time seemed irritated. speaking out to her fellow co workers (about 6 other people working at the time, so there was no shortage of people working) not to worry about the phones. Its just people calling to cancel there orders and that she didn't care anyways. If they really wanted too they could take it up with the company. Hearing this was very distasteful.

After being there for about an hour. She told everyone to stop the production of pizzas and that she is about to close the doors. shortly after that (around 5:30pm on a Sunday) herself and the other employers were telling people walking in to place orders, that they would not be taking any more orders for the day.

After i finally got my order my pizza was cold, and half of it was not even there. Part of my order consisted of there chicken Alfredo pasta. I was told they don't have that any more and that she could either put a 10 dollar credit on the phone number used for my order, or put 10 dollars back onto my card as i had paid already. after telling her id like to just put the money back on my card. she wrote something on my receipt and placed it next to the register telling me "she would get to it later". I pulled my card out and told her id like her to do it now when she informed me she could not at the time. So irritated about the whole situation i just took my order and left.

Overal it was a terrible experience and my pizza was not that great. I will never be going to this establishment ever again and would NOT recommend it to anyone els for any of there items...

I ordered a 2 medium Pizzas, and garlic knots. Pizza 1) cheese with chicken as a topping for 1.50 extra. Pizza 2) was with extra cheese only. I ordered my food at 8:45 PM. My food was not delivered until an hour later. I looked at my pizzas and the 1st pizza had not chicken on it and I was still charged with the 1.50 extra. I called in and was told it can be credited or a new one can be made and I have to stop by and pick up the pizza with a different topping since they didn't have chicken on there. I decided to have the pizza remade and pick it up. I got there and was not informed that the carryout section was closed at 10 pm . All he told me was in 20 mins the pizza will be ready for pick up. I sat outside and it was 10:15, I ended up sitting there till 10:45 and the manager came out. She wanted to know what was going on. I told her what happened and she said that they employee can't do that. She said that the entire time there was no pizza in the oven and that she saw it pop up not too long ago in the system. She said she will make me a large pizza with the topping that I had requested. She asked if I wanted to wait inside and I said yes. She said that the employee had lied to her. The employee was being obnoxious towards the manager saying that I was lying. The manager told him "You got caught in a lie and it's best to keep your mouth shut.". I appreciated that from her. My pizza was done and it was going on 11:20 at night. I was satisfied with how the manager assisted me but over all I will never purchase from Pizza Hut ever again.
