Marylou's Coffee — Restaurant in North Attleborough

I haven’t been to a Marylou’s in many, many years so was trying to read their menu at the drivethru. It’s so huge with lists of coffee flavors but no distinction on which ones are for hot, only iced flavors. Says they have breakfast sandwiches and pastries but no list of what they carry. Figured a bacon/egg/cheese on a croissant was a safe bet but the croissant was rock solid, totally stale. Thankfully I had ordered a muffin for later too since I’d be on the road a while… it was wrapped in plastic and had an expiration sticker of today so don’t assume these will be fresh pastries with your coffee. Coffee was sickeningly sweet, I didn’t realize they were such sweetened flavors but it doesn’t mention that on their menu so I didn’t think about it when they asked if I wanted cream and sugar. I work on the road so pass these more often when I’m in MA, will make sure to permanently skip trying...

Horrible customer service but good drinks. I went here just trying to get a drink after getting gas and the cashier was being rude when I asked if the drinks were done because she finished two drinks and I’ve never been there before so I didn’t know what they looked like, plus she came back to my general area. So after that I told the second person there she might wanna tell her friend over there to calm down with the attitude, we’re the customers and then she said have a okay and the cashier said have a nice day with an attitude as we got our drinks. Then she said that’s something we should’ve said to her even though she was busy working on other drinks, which would make it stupid for me to do because then all of the customers would get angry. I’ve been getting the same coffee at Marylou’s for probably 6 years, a Gone Bananas with almond milk (soy milk before they had almond.) This new marylous is awful. Every single time I go, which is almost every day because I work up the street, my exact same order looks and tastes different. It’s never what it’s supposed to taste like and there is never any consistency. Sometimes I have to ask them to remake it because it’s awful and every time I get an attitude. Please train your employees better and teach them some customer service. I love Marylou’s but this location is not off to a good start.

Update* I went today for a medium iced French vanilla with almond milk and it came out with about 6 ice cubes in it..... just awful....
