Leave bad Popeyes reviews It was 7:50pm me my sister my and my cousin were hungry for a Popeyes chicken sandwich however the nearest Popeyes was 30 minutes away. We were eager to taste the sandwich of dreams, the sandwich that people swear by. Oh how disappointed we would be. As we drove it was silent(apart form the quiet r&b playing on the radio) as we passed by a smoke tower perhaps a sign of things to come. I remember thinking "why do we do this to the earth". I later realized that we were following a black car down a dark road. bright lights glared in my eyes as they drove past us. It wasn't the only thing that hurt that night. As we reentered civilization I was able to make out there faces. They were an old married couple, I had hoped that they too were headed to Popeyes for there world renowned chicken sandwich but we passed them. This was the last time I saw them. My cousin accidentally drove past the entrance to the Popeyes and decided to go to the next parking lot to text on his phone. I sat there with my mouth salivating thinking of the sandwich. My cousin finished texting then drove us to the Popeyes my eyes lit up thinking "wow I finally get to try this sandwich". I order a classic chicken sandwich, as did my cousin but my sister got the spicy chicken sandwich, that's just how she is. As my cousin repeated our orders into the microphone he was cut short by a female voice saying they were out of fillets. My heart dropped. My cousin drove away. I was choking down tears as we drove so far for a sandwich that turned out to not have been there. We decided to find another chicken place but churches and chic fil a were closed we swallowed our pride and went to Bojangles tears filled my eyes by this point as I checked down the Bojangles chicken sandwich. I WILL NEVER FORGIVE POPEYES. I write this with the hopes that you fatten your supply. I pray our relationship lasts as strong as that old married couples. But for now we are at odds. So...

The store manager Marc Donovan completely treated me with disregard and did not take my order after being DENIED my food I clearly paid for after showing receipts and calling the customer service line. His reasoning for not giving me the food I ordered and paid for was that people come up with screenshots of orders trying to get food so they don't work on online orders until they see them. It is NOT THE CUSTOMER FAULT that Popeyes systems aren't together and there was a delay in my online order being seen when I ordered 30 minutes prior. After being on recorded phone call with customer service, which I requested they pull, I was still denied service when trying to order with my card (a duplicate order) ...the customer that showed proof of paying for food, having a receipt, and money being taken out of my account. No one understood my frustration in that store but the customer service on the call and the sweet other employee trying to appease me outside of Donovan. You don't just deny your customers their ordered food with receipt. I was punished for popeyes errors. I spent almost 30 minutes there just to not get my food. I typically wouldn't even other to write reviews but the service here was HORRIBLE. I reported the store manager and hopefully I get a refund for Popeyes internal issues. Had I know this was going to happen, I would not have placed an order on my break. Piss poor service and no empathy to loyal customers Ive been eating at Popeyes for years with no issues at this same location. DONT PUNISH CUSTOMERS FOR INTERNAL...

I’ve never has an experience like this one! First I waited in line 20 minutes only for the car in front of me to finally tell me that they wouldn’t be taking any orders for at least 30 minutes and then he drove off! I went inside to find total disorganization. The restaurant was dirty behind the counter meaning things were out of place and trash was on the floor. They were many items unavailable from the menu which I guess is why they were telling people in drive-through that they couldn’t take their order. They did take my order inside however but the food was cooked and tasted terribly! The biscuits were hard and overcooked, the nuggets were over cooked and hard and tasted as though they had been there quite a while. My crispy chicken was good.
