Extremely disappointing visit !!!!!!!!!!!!!! I ordered sandwiches without onions because I cannot have onions. I bit into the sandwich and I was overwhelmed because there was an onion chunk....I know that they use minced onions, so I was shocked to bite into a chunk of an onion. How did an onion chunk get into a McDouble? People who cannot have onions, seafood, or peanuts are serious when they say that they CANNOT have it. I returned to the restaurant and told the young lady who previously took my order that an onion chunk was in my sandwich. She was very rude, unkind, and unprofessional. It seemed as though I was bothering her. She asked me for my receipt and she was the exact person at the window who I paid. Both sandwiches were also in the bag, along with the napkins, etc. to prove that I did not eat the food. When I tried to explain that I cannot have onions, she leaned down and placed her head on the drive thru window as if she could care less and didn't want to hear me. I asked for the Manager and she became even more rude. She went back and forth with Management for an extensive period of time. He was trying to explain to her that she was rude and wrong. A ton of yelling went on and I could hear even though the window was closed. I heard profanity. She told the Manager that I lied on her and he reiterated that I did not lie and that he was tired of her continuously being rude to customers. This allowed me to know that she is rude quite often and that my incident was not isolated. I rarely ever eat at McDonald's, but I will definitely not be returning to the Ashley Phosphate Road location next to Bojangles. Earlier, she came to the window and gave me a new sandwich. Who wants to eat from a yucky, no mannered employee? Not me. The Manager gave me my money back. I will not return to this place; EVER. The Manager tried. In my opinion, that clerk was a piece of work. My...
Read moreI'm from Charleston so obviously I know North Charleston isn't the best area, but my mother in law lives in the area so we stopped in for lunch prior to finishing some shopping. Not only was the cashier RUDE not only to us and other customers but the fellow staff as well! But there was someone coming off of drugs (violently shaking, twitching, etc) sitting at one table as soon as you walked in and then a large disagreement erupted in the restaurant in front of the customers (children included) which the employees did not try to eliminate from happening, the two individuals then proceeded outside where the female was assaulted and escorted by her neck in to a truck. Not unusual for this area, but unacceptable for the employees to not try to prevent the customers from theach exposure to this ridiculousness. To boot, our food was COLD, chewy (as if it had been reheated from being frozen several times), the tea was rotten (tasted like rotten eggs), the restaurant was dirty and employees were too busy bickering amongst each other to properly address customer complaints. Overall, yet another bad experience. The bathroom was even worse with feces on the toilets and no toilet tissue. The staff preparing my food I watched hack everywhere without covering their mouth and then spit on the floor. Needless to say, one attempt at one small bite of my sandwich was enough to turn my stomach. A waste of...
Read morethis mcdonalds is near my neighborhood. i go here all the time unfortunately because it is convenient. It is the worst mcdonalds and i know this as ive lived next to it for 4 years. ill list why "Late night menu" starts around midnight, even on weekends. it excludes 75% of the standard menu leaving only the pricier items. no dollar menu, no ice cream, no frappes, not even cookies! No other store in the area does that late night service is awful. i believe they wait for an order to start cooking. it takes 5-10 minutes to get a 1/4lb burger. no other store in the area is like this. they need to put cones out by the drive through to prevent stupid lazy drivers from entering the lot at the side entrance and stopping their cars accross the parking lot to get into the drive through from a side approach. other stores dont have this problem. they are closed on holidays when other stores in the area are not. the large frappes are actually mediums. and the mediums are smalls. (compared to other stores) 9/10 times i order a dip cone noone in the store knows how to do it properly. poor training they seem to run out of choclate chips alot. hot fudge too
they obviously need new management. i always drive 10 minutes down the road to dorchester/phosphate to get late night service and extra driving is not good on weekend nights if you know...
