A friend of the family had their childs' birthday party at this place (prior to this I had never been here before). From an outsider looking in, personally, I thought that they pretty much ruined this kids birthday party for her & she is young. She was 2 going on 3. It matters when you have to stand outside & wait with everyone who is supposed to be attending the party with you (plus some... because there were other's out there waiting for other birthday parties doing the same) so I'm sure you can imagine how crowded it was & you can't go in. They were over 10 minutes late letting everyone in for the birthday party so we're all forced to stand outside, with other larger groups of people (that seemed to be waiting for the same thing that we all were) which was waiting for other birthday parties to begin as well. It was extremely disorganized. I would never want to have my child's birthday at this place and this is just the beginning. I, personally, think they need to work on time management but what do I know..? Oh & going back to that whole "10 minutes late thing" don't you guys worry about it... They "fixed it" by just tacking on 10 extra minutes at the end (after the family had to say something to them about it) but that makes it ok right...? Especially to the 3 year old (I'm sure the child was extremely understanding). It was so chaotic in there & I'm not sure how things work when you're just going to enjoy the day with your family, but for the people dealing with the "birthday party thing", there is no one keeping any sort of track with the children, making sure at the very least that the child is going home with the parents & family that the child should be (oh, & not getting injured while being there either because that's important but you sign a waiver so I guess it is what it is... Play at your own risk). We finally got into the "party room" & it was so crowded, & were pretty much forced to rush the children into everything that they were going to be doing in that room & that includes eating (and of course I don't need to tell you the pizza was late so every kid there was starving). They finally get the pizza & then are forced to rush everyone there through that process & eat the cake, only to have to turn right around from that to hurry up & watch the birthday kid open presents. The kid's barely had any real time to enjoy & play & run & have fun around the place (except for, of course, when they were waiting on the late pizza to arrive) but even then it was so crowded with so many other people there that the kids couldn't really enjoy it. I would not have been a very happy person, let alone parent of a kid having a birthday party here & I would have had to pay in advance (and I'm sure it's no small amount of money) to deal with all this. Be warned: no matter what the reason you are there, birthday or otherwise, WATCH YOUR CHILD, because Lord knows, no one else is & no one there can be relied on to it properly & no one watches their own child better than YOU! It's unfortunate because it should (in my opinion) be a place where you can sit & relax and watch them play from a distance & get a little bit of time to breathe (which we all know as parents is hard to come by). I did not get that feeling from this establishment & personally, I would not want to go back. Just telling it like I see it. Sorry, it wouldn't be me if it wasn't honest. Good luck out there guys & girls & try to fit in some fun (just maybe not a that spot. Lol). Be warned too... If you ever see anything there that seems like you are allowed to color... Don't do it! It's always for another event! It's for another event! SORRY! Printing anything out is too much to ask so just don't do it! Just don't do it! Ok! Other than that have fun, I guess, and good luck! It seems like every time I walk into this place, it's always...
Read moreLet me first start by saying customer service is VERY important when running your business. When you are a OWNER and don’t understand that ,you’ll miss out on so much . Furthermore. I would not recommend this place AT ALL ! Booked my daughters party here months before Covid began . Due to Covid They canceled the party and then said we could reschedule. Went ahead and rescheduled for the following year and unfortunately her dad got Covid the same timeframe . I asked that we be able to use the deposit for regular admissions at this point because we’ve tried this twice and no success due to Covid and was then advised NO due to them losing other customers on one of their busiest days because we couldn’t come in. Let me also say this.. there was absolutely NO EMPATHY given. No I’m so sorry this has happened but etc...just no we can only reschedule a party . I mean the regular employees had more respect than the owner !! I can understand your goal is not to lose money but WE’RE in a pandemic. Ppl can’t control getting Covid . When you canceled my child’s party due to Covid I didn’t complain I went ahead and reschedule . Now that someone in my household has Covid you address me about the money you loss because “You have busy weekends and lost money because my daughters party was canceled “ AGAIN DUE to her father having Covid !! would you rather me bring Covid in your establishment than to cancel respectfully because your losing money !! I also never asked for a refund I asked specifically to use the balance as a credit IN YOUR ESTABLISHMENT !!! So once again you’re not losing money because we don’t mind having to use it for regular admissions !!! She then said no you would just lose the balance completely if you don’t reschedule a party event ! FOR A CHILD BIRTHDAY THAT HAS ALREADY PASSED !! The owner also stated they had to make these changes due to Covid RECENTLY so please tell me WHY this policy is not advised at the time of booking ????? I’ll never step foot let alone recommend anyone to this place and ALSO the OWNER is very rude !!! From the beginning customer services was HORRIBLE I came on the phone literally said GOOD MORNING and she said NOTHING! I remained calm all up until her getting frustrated because I was asking her questions to understand and she said she refused to argue with me mind you THERE WAS NO ARGUING! No bad words were exchange not even a loud tone. I was just trying to understand why you wouldn’t allow me to use the credit outside of a party event if a customer can’t control getting Covid and also WHY this policy is not advised at booking so your customers wouldn’t complain about this if something were to come up ?! Again I wouldn’t recommend any party bookings especially during Covid . Things happen and unfortunately the owner cares nothing about that except the money she loses from not having someone else be able to book another party for that HOUR ! Not even the day because you literally have other parties...
Read moreMy husband and I have brought my son to Bizzy Bee twice, one time on a Sunday and the other on a Friday. The first time we went the place was crazy busy, there were 3 birthday parties going on and the place was a mad house which we expected. What we didn’t expect was the lack of employees monitoring the play areas. Luckily, we walked around everywhere with our 2 year old but the amount of children playing dangerously was shocking. They do have a 0-3 year old section but there is no gates keeping older children from playing in the same area with the smaller children. We did have an encounter where an older unsupervised child (about 10 years old) was throwing toys around the area and playing very rough around the other children. We quickly removed our child from the area but this would have been the perfect situation where an employee’s presence was necessary to ensure no children were injured. All the employees were helping with the parties and not even supervising the play areas. Another huge frustration was the first time we went to Bizzy Bee we inquired about the monthly memberships and was only told very basic details regarding price. Our second visit to Bizzy Bee we started to sign up for the monthly membership, when the employee told us our total of $57 I asked about the price details and the employee didn’t have much of an explanation. It wasn’t until another employee came over and told us that the $57 total included the $40 membership fee, taxes, and our $15 day fee. So in order to use a membership you have to purchase it at least 24 hours prior to have it count or you will still be charged for a day fee. This was never told to us prior or even mentioned anywhere on the website. This was extremely upsetting as if we had known this, we would’ve purchased the membership during our first visit. Now Bizzy Bee has lost us as a customer and we will be getting a membership at another indoor play gym in the area. A lot of the toys were broken and there definitely did appear to be a lack of cleaning also. I expected some toys to be broken but some of the toys that were broken were still being used by children, which was dangerous since they weren’t able to be used as intended. We were really bummed as this place had great reviews, that just simply didn’t match up to our...
