I'm typically not one to write reviews, but 5 stars doesn't do this place justice! I moved to Charleston 6 weeks ago from Nashville and I went to LoDi my first week here, and I have been hooked ever since! I have made the 20+ minute drive weekly (sometimes multiple visits per week) because this place is so fantastic! The salted toffee latte with oat milk & croissant are my absolute favorites, but honestly I've tried 5-10 items on the menu and everything has been delicious and consistent which is much appreciated! The real winner with this place is not the food though it's the incredible service. I can promise you that you won't find another business that provides the level of service that LoDi does (especially in this day and age where good service seems nonexistent in many places). I've never been to a drive-thru and had somebody sound so friendly to take your order, but that's what you will experience at this place. Then when you get to the window it continues. You aren't just treated like a person coming to get coffee, you are treated like a friend. The kindest and friendliest business in town. Honestly can't say enough good things about them. Give them a try I promise you will want to return...

Today was my first time trying Lodi. I will say the staff are very polite and create a great atmosphere. This review is not a reflection of them but Lodi itself. The food is just subpar. I got a medium matcha latte and a black bean, egg and cheese burrito with potatoes and peppers.

The matcha was filled 2/3 the way of the cup and doubled cupped due to how ridiculously hot the drink was. First sip burned my mouth and I waited about 20 minutes before I could drink it without burning myself. I was driving so I can't cool it down myself. The taste was more milk than matcha.

The burrito was just extremely bland and hot. It was handed to me wrapped in thin foil and a napkin. If a child grabbed carelessly it or someone dropped this on their lap they could burn themselves. No paper bags or sleeves????

Total price was $15 for a meal and drink I felt was more appropriate to $6. A huge letdown and I though with the prices not on the very wordy menu would be indication that they had decent quality.

TLDR if you feel you have to ask how much things cost and care about money well spent do not go here. Even though they boast high quality and organic ingredients its definitely not...

I've gone to the north Charleston location 3 times and the summerville location 2 times since they opened. Every single time I have attempted to get one of the cream puffs that everyone is always raving about. Every single time, they are sold out. I have gone at all different times of day except for when they open. Today I was there at noon. I honestly find it a little ridiculous that if you're not there first thing in the morning when they get their pastries delivered you essentially don't ever get to try one. If yall run out of them every day I don't understand why are you not ordering more of them? Selling out almost daily halfway through the day means you're not ordering enough.. It's unfair to those of us who cannot get there before 8am... Its rare for me to get a chance to treat myself and it's so disappointing that the last 5 times I've tried I have been let down each and every time. I honestly don't even want to bother trying anymore but cream puffs are my absolute favorite dessert and everyone else who seems to have been able to try one tells me how...

Hands down the best coffee spot in Charleston. My favorites are the lemon shortbread matcha and the lavender latte. Their matcha is honestly unmatched and I can't say enough good things about it. The lavender flavors are amazing and I LOVE that they have them year-round. Most coffee shops don't even have lavender. I have also tried various frapps and they're very good. I personally prefer to add espresso to them. I like the mint chocolate chip, the chocolate chip cookie monster, and the chocolate covered strawberry. For the food, I've had both the chocolate chip cookie and the yogurt parfait. Both are great! Yes, Lodi is pricy (1-3 dollars more than Starbucks per drink), but you are paying for higher quality and good customer service! I also enjoy their rewards program because I get free drinks!

My husband and I saw this place when we came into town. We made a mental note to stop by before we left the area. When we pulled up to the drive through. we were given time to look at the menu without the pressure to order. The employee also answered our questions and made suggestions. We pulled around to the window and the drive through is very tight… Very tight. We received the same helpful service at the window. I ordered an iced Eggnog Latte and my husband ordered the hot Vanilla Peperment Latte. The common problem we have at different coffee shops is that the flavored lattes don’t actually taste like coffee/expresso. This was not the case here. Both drinks were top notch. If you are in the area, you should definitely stop by. 5 Star customer service, for sure.

First off, what a friendly staff! Oh my goodness, there’s very few places with such welcoming, happy, and chirpy employees! They were super helpful too. The girl taking our order was so patient and such great assistance in helping me pick a drink that matched my dietary restrictions! The girl outside taking payments was so sweet and helpful in suggesting places to visit. Now the drinks: I fell in love. I ordered the keto matcha latte w sf vanilla and sf almond milk… guys, to die for!! I didn’t want it to end… I may or may not have spent some time staring into my straw as I caressed my cup 😅 My friend ordered a pumpkin spice latte, and although not my favorite… I did appreciate the cinnamon kick to it. He found 4/5 so coffee is a green light as well!
