Subway — Restaurant in North Huntingdon Township

Poorest experience ever. I went in to get some dinner around 6:15p. Two young boys were working the counter. They took a minute to approach the counter after I came in to order. As my sub was being made, the sandwich artist kept ripping the meat while trying to peel it apart and used pieces to make my sandwich. (Didn’t get half the meat I should have). After roasting, the next boy took over adding my veggies. He seemed to be moving in slow motion and piling the veggies on (too many). They didn’t have Italian dressing, only packets and normally this doesn’t bother me but after this experience it just added to the list. After finishing he wrapped my hoagie, (not correctly). He gave me a half wrapped hoagie that he struggled minutes to put my hoagie in a bag. The boys didn’t say much to me or each other while getting my hoagie. I was the only customer in the store. They did however ask me to tip them. Couldn’t believe the audacity!!! I didn’t tipped them. I eat here often and never really had an issue until today. These underage boys need some supervision. I initially meant to leave a review sooner, but here it is now. Now I haven't been to any Subway in a very long time, as the experiences I've had has been subpar for many years prior to me quitting Subway. I decided the day I went to stop because I couldn't wait to eat. I go in and order a Supreme Meats and a wrap for a family member of mine. When I say the woman & the man she was training completely changed my mind about Subway, they did. I was greeted and given warm service, which is not something I was used to in Subway. The man she was training, he did a better job on his FIRST sandwich with me then most people who have been working at Subway for a long time. The bread, meat and service was far better than some restaurants I've spent $40+ to eat at. Ever since that day, I've made this my #1 Subway to eat at. When I tell you if I had shown you the sandwich they made me, and didn't tell you it was Subway initially, you would have never believed me once I told you it was. Ordered online for pick up and they messed up my order. I ordered an oven roasted turkey club sub and when I got my order home instead I found it was a Tuna sub sandwich which I never ordered. I called to let them know of their mistake and the young male manager on duty was very rude, inconsiderate insisted I ordered a Tuna sub sandwich while my receipt clearly said Turkey Club and hung up on me. I will be very reluctant to order from the Irwin location on Norwin Ave again. The staff apparently does not know how to read or take orders and have no proper training.
