I have a family of 6 so when we order food it can be a little pricey. We were on a mini vacay in Las Vegas and decided to go to Dave's Chicken. Dave's Chicken has a list of no spice to extreme spicy for there Chicken. I love spicy but really for our family stomach on a trip most of us decided on lite or mild spicy. I have a toddler and 8 year old they are extremely picky. I enjoyed my #4 but on this day there were no š„ pickles and my husband order so im dealing with the children I was not aware. So we all get our meals and head back to the Hotel. On our way back we noticed we were missing a order of French fries. We came back and the gentleman working the front at about 9pm on a this past Sunday got us the fries We left made it to the hotel and that's when I notice I had no pickles and I love pickles. I felt like the fries were good but there were too spicy for my little ones . My teens felt they were too salty. So they didn't eat it and that was a waste..Now they ate the Chicken and they like the Chicken so did I buy I was not satisfied with my complete order. My little ones didn't touch the macaroni...so they didn't really eat there food. My husband only ate his sandwich. We were all disappointed with the no pickles. So in the morning today. I called and explained to Mae what happen. Mae was so professional. I could not find my receipt as I was on vacation. I happen to remember our order number and she was so gracious and said we can come for a remake order. I couldn't believe it. I told her I'd be there in like 20-40 min. We arrive and she drop the chicken fresh and made sure our food was right. I was ecstatic. This time around with our new meals my family was satisfied. I personally can't do too much spicy or salt for health reasons but I was very happy with my meal and thanks to Mae she made the day for us. I told her I will surely write a review and here it is. We live in a society where people are half doing customer service and Mae went above and beyond to make sure we were good. Thank you Mae and Dave's Chicken is very good. If you like spice go for it but if you're like me and need to watch it go lite spice. So here's my long review. Have a Happy Dave Day and try there sandwich it had coleslaw and pickles and I didn't think I would like it but I actually loved it. Oh and the atmosphere was very Artsy...I love the Artwork in the place. I thought it was Homer Simpson but its the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAbsolutely ridiculous experience at this restaurant. Iām not new here, I know at times they get really busy so I put in a pickup order. I put it in for ASAP (7 minutes) knowing I have a 16 minute drive because I donāt expect it to be ready that quick. I get there 7 minutes after scheduled pick up, walk straight to the register and the girl in the front tells me itās not ready yet. No big deal, I just wait quietly against the wall. 15 minutes pass and no sign of my order. The original girl at the front went on break and the new girl asks my name and then says āitās not ready yet but should be out soon.ā At this point I was starting to become frustrated because Iām literally watching people who walked in 10 minutes after me get their food before me. Finally at the 40 minute mark, I ask when my order would be ready because the pickup time was 40 minutes ago. The girl walks to the back and asks about my order and say they donāt have one. I show my receipt and then all of a sudden the story becomes āsomeone walked in and took your order.ā I was standing right in front of the register by the silver trash can, and not ONCE after giving them my name twice, did they call my name. I have a hard time believing that someone just took it unless they threw it on the table without calling out my name, which is a failure on their part. At this point the girl in front(donāt know her name but she had those zit patch stickers on her face) is getting agitated and starts saying things like āIām going home after thisā āI canāt do thisā etc., loud enough for guests to hear it. I get being frustrated but it was unprofessional. Not once was there an apology or offer to make it right. At this point I ask for a refund, the employee asks for the next person in line, I respond back saying āexcuse me, I need a refundā and the same girl, still very clearly frustrated, starts screaming to the back āCAN YOU COME HELP THIS CUSTOMER! CAN YOU COME HELP THIS CUSTOMER! THEY WANT A REFUNDā āI NEED TO GO HOME I CANT DO THIS.ā This very much felt like she was making it out that I was rude and causing a scene, and was not an appropriate response to a customer that was failed multiple times. My name wasnāt called, when she said my order would be out soon, she never actually checked, and all that just to never be served. After this experience I will no longer service this location. Staff needs to be retrained on...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreFinally succumbing to the siren call of Dave's Hot Chicken, I can confidently say the hype is not only understood but wholeheartedly embracedāespecially after visiting this particular location in Las Vegas. To label Dave's as merely a 'chicken restaurant' is a gross understatement; it's a culinary narrative spun from the threads of friendship, passion, and a burning desire to redefine the fried chicken experience. The genesis of Dave's is a compelling tale of four childhood friends armed with a mere $900, a wealth of creativity, and an audacious dream. Their vision: to deliver an unparalleled, fiery chicken experience. It was their ingenuity and commitment to quality that caught the discerning eye of LA Magazine, catapulting their East Hollywood operation from obscurity into a burgeoning empire. While I remain a loyal patron of other chicken establishments, Dave's distinguishes itself with a unique flavor profile that defies simple categorization. As a devoted aficionado of heat, their 'Hot' chicken option hits that elusive sweet spotāa perfect equilibrium of flavor and fire that has long eluded many others. The fact that it took me this long to experience this is almost a crime. This Las Vegas location elevates the experience further. The dedication of the two-person team was palpable; the order staff and the cook, both radiating genuine warmth and enthusiasm. Their comprehensive guidance and personalized recommendations underscored a commitment to customer satisfaction that is rare to find. Opting for the celebrated Sliders while my companion ordered ā Dave's Bitesā, the brief wait was absorbed by the vibrant ambiance of the interiorāa meticulously designed space that mirrors the brand's ethos of quality and innovation. For those yet uninitiated, Dave's Hot Chicken offers a spectrum of heat levels to accommodate all palates, coupled with enticing deals and a team that sets a new standard for customer engagement. My sincere gratitude to the exceptional team at Dave's Hot Chicken in Las Vegas for an unforgettable...
