I knew I needed to order a BBQ meal for a family birthday dinner a few days ago while I'm in town, so I saw Famous Dave's show up in my search results. I regret this order, and felt so embarrassed when I got home to look at what we received. The meal was the "All-American BBQ Feast," and it was advertised to feed 4-6 people. I would say, if you are going to advertise it to be a "feast" feeding 4-6 full grown adults, it should have enough sides at least to feed everyone. The advertisement reads directly from their website as of a few minutes ago "A full slab of St. Louis-Style Spareribs, a whole Country-Roasted Chicken, choice of Texas Beef Brisket or Georgia Chopped Pork, Creamy Coleslaw, Famous Fries, Wilbur Beans, Sweet Corn and Corn Bread Muffins. Serves 4-6." Nowhere does it say each side would feed only 2 people. It was ridiculous where one person opted out of eating because we thought there was not enough food. We made it work while rationing during this celebration, and spending over $80. Luckily, I added an extra Macaroni & Cheese which made it a little better, I guess? Even with that add on, it was so small to where it was probably more beneficial to order individual meals instead. This was so embarrassing, and such little food. We only had 5 adults and 1 child eating, but it ended up being 4 adults and a child with rationing. My recommendation is to show a picture or sizes on the descriptions, and to make these numbers more realistic for adult portions. People expect to have enough food when ordering from the catering menu, and to have these numbers close to accurate. This was not the case, as mentioned. If you look at the photo attached, there were only 4 corn bread muffins and sweet corn portions. There should be enough sides to feed the maximum number of people. We had to start slicing corn bread muffins, and cutting corn down. Giving each person 1-2 tablespoons of sides. It tasted good, with what I could eat. The bad thing was it was like a sampling appetizer. A few dollars more, I could have got each person their own meal. This definitely needs to be re-worked. Again, the photo shows an add on side that was not included in the package, so ignore the fact the macaroni and cheese was there. The beans might be hard to see, but there were two small containers included. I will say, there was plenty of BBQ sauce than the amount of food.

I placed a pickup order of over $100, I had requested curbside pickup because I am sick and did not want to get anyone else sick as well. I arrived at the time my order stated it would be ready, I checked in, and after about 15 mins, I went inside to see what was going on. My order was barely being put together. Angel up front apologized and was trying to get everything together as quickly as possible. I finally got my food after 20 mins. Upon arriving at home and handing my family their meals, I open my son's 3 piece chicken tenders and I could not believe that someone actually had the audacity to use 3 of the tiniest "chicken strips", that were almost burnt and thin, to place as my sons meal. I was very upset and drove back to the location, I was also missing one of my own sides. Angel was still up front, and I showed her what someone had placed inside, I asked to speak to a manager. I let them know how frustrating it was to have to come back and that I was not upset with them but with the person who cooked and placed the food inside the container thinking this was an appropriate meal for someone. Both Angel and the manager agreed and had the meal remade without hesitation. Angel was very apologetic, had great customer service, and tried to rectify the situation as much as she could. Definitely someone who is doing a great job. I do think the photo on the menu for the kids' chicken strips needs to be updated because even though the new ones I received were a bit bigger and cooked as they should be, but nothing like the photo.

Short version: Pricy, but big portions make it worth it. Best BBQ I've ever had. Detailed version: I ordered delivery because I'm from out of town, so I can't really speak to the service or atmosphere. However, I can say that I've had BBQ in 9 states, and this is easily the best! It's a little pricy, but well worth the cost for the amount of food you get. I didn't expect the potatoes to be mashed, but they were creamy with a touch of garlic, savory, rich flavor. The cornbread is sweet and moist with a very light glaze almost on the top, and almost fell out of the wrapper when I opened it. While I often find brisket to be dry and a little tough, this place has it just right - it was juicy and came apart with just a (plastic) fork. The ribs were honestly my favorite part. I'm a little sensitive to spicy foods, but flavor-wise, this was absolutely perfect - there is seasoning without "heat" which allows for the flavor of the meat to shine, however, they do offer stronger sauces for those more adventurous with their pallet. The one very minor critique I would give is that the ribs weren't cut "perfectly", which meant there were shards of bone to avoid, but as long as you're careful those can be avoided. Of course, this also means size-wise you get a little more than a normal rib for each one. All-in-all, this place was fabulous. Go here. You'll thank me!

My wife and I arrived at the restaurant at 11:55 and were greeted by a less than enthusiastic hostess. We were told it would be about a 10 minute wait till we could grab a table, but even at a quick glance, I could tell the place was only about 25% full if that. I did notice about 7 people waiting for to-go orders and shortly after a party of 5 tradesmen queued up for the to-go line, but after about 10 minutes of waiting they dipped out and headed to another restaurant. That should have been our sign to do the same, but we waited about another 10 minutes (we are 20 minutes in now). As we were seated, we had ample time to pour over the menus. I settled on the cheese curds, pulled pork sandwich with a side of willber beans, and my wife decided on the Cajun chicken sandwich with mac n cheese. We waited about another 10 minutes until we were finally seen by our waitress and order our drinks, I wanted a Dave's Punch from the cocktail menu, but I sadly couldn't because the bar didn't open till 2pm and the manager was on-line ? Whatever that means... anyways, we ordered some sodas and she immediately took off without asking if we wanted any apps which we did. Then it hit me... This place prioritizes to-go boxes and only had one waitress on the floor with now at this point at least 9 other parties with at least 4 people per party. Poor gal was SWAMPED, and I immediately knew this was going to be a LONG wait, which it was, about 15 minutes later we finally were able to place our order and waited another 15 minutes just for our fried cheese curds which were pretty solid 7/10. We waited another 35 minutes for our main courses, and things were wrong. Firstly, my sandwich was supposed to come with hellfire pickles and the wilbur beans, but I received mac n cheese and two ribs instead (my wife was missing her hellfire pickles as well)... I thought I may have gotten someone else's order, but nope... our waitress informed us that the kitchen messed up and that she would get my beans for me, which I was very grateful for. Also, she confirmed my previous theory that this place prioritizes to-go box meals over sit down patrion meals, which wouldn't be an issue if only they had the staff to do it properly like Texas Roadhouse. My main meal across the broad was about a 5/10, and for my wife a 6/10. Of course this wasn't any fault on the front of house, especially being so shorthanded, maybe the hostess could have done more than scrub 2 tables in the hour and half we were there and actually help run tables... Overall, this place needs to correct 2 major issues. One, hire more chefs so that way food quality and speed improves. Two, have more than one person running tables during lunch service. Additionally, for all those who are curious, our tab was 40 bucks, and we tipped 20 bucks to brighten the day of our waitress who was left stranded running...

Me and my woman went to this location on the 18th after I got off work around 8:15pm, we walked in waited to be seated which took about 5 mins before some one finally took us to a table. We took off our coats and thought we should have left them on because it was cold! we ordered our drinks, I wanted to taste the sweet tea after hearing the review from the guy saying it wasn't to sweet. lol. it wasn't sweet at all!!! and if I have to put sugar in sweet tea then it ain't sweet!!! had to wait like about five passes for a refill. it took about 35mins for our food to get to us like it wasn't already slow cooked!!! and ready!!! my woman asked for the mac'n cheese with no jalapenos and they made sure and asked twice!! then they served her one with jalapenos. when she flagged down the severer and told her the sever replied ,"oh I overheard you saying that". what!! wow!! if she did why did we have to let her know?! Girl was sitting in a position facing the kitchen we she could see all of the severs just standing around talking to each other and not attending to the customers!!! so now to the ribs!! I ordered 1/2 a slab with two sides fried potatoes and the dirty rice or their version of it and my woman ordered the hot link mac'n cheese as you know and some beans. The ribs were a little dry the only thing that made the better was the sauces which I have to say I liked all the sauces, and my ladies sierra mist was good too. the corn bread muffin was also good so were their fries, but the rice was salty and also a little dry. I finally received my second glass of non sweet tea!! So the end of our meal I go to the restroom to wash my hands and the female server is in there cleaning and said just give me about three minutes, WHAT!!! you have to be kidding me there were not closed yet it was only 9:35pm!! I didn't wait for that BS me and my lady left!! this was very disappointing because I so want my experience to be really good. I will try and go to the other ones to see if it will be better but I have to find a good BBQ place, it's really sad that this place and staff don't care a just want a check!!! sorry but no...
