Pura Vida Miami — Restaurant in North Miami

This is the first negative review I’ve ever written, and I do so in the hope that it may lead to some positive changes.

I genuinely enjoy this place and usually love coming here. However, I recently encountered a situation that, in my opinion, seriously affects the comfort and overall experience of the guests.

At the outdoor tables, music is played from two different sources — one from the café itself and another from the nearby sports area. The speakers are positioned at equal distances from the seating area and play completely different music at a fairly high volume. As a result, guests sitting at these specially arranged tables are subjected to an unpleasant mix of competing sounds — a kind of cacophony that is not only uncomfortable but, I believe, can even be harmful to one’s mental well-being.

I asked the manager if it would be possible to leave just one source of music on. He was very kind and attentive — and with the same level of politeness, explained that turning off one of the music sources was absolutely out of the question.

I truly hope the management takes this issue into consideration. This is a wonderful place, and I’d love to continue enjoying it in a more relaxing and harmonious...

Here’s a fun and positive review for Pura Vida at Sole Mia:

If breakfast were an Olympic sport, Pura Vida at Sole Mia would be taking home the gold. This place knows how to do high-quality food right—from the tuna sprout sandwich that’s fresher than a morning ocean breeze to the “perfect egg” that actually lives up to its name (seriously, I’ve never seen an egg so flawlessly cooked).

The açaí bowl? Kid-approved. They devoured it so fast I barely had time to steal a bite. And the latte? Smooth, rich, and so good I briefly considered writing it a love letter.

A special shoutout to Mati and Miguel—these two are absolute rockstars! Friendly, fast, and clearly proud to represent the Pura Vida brand.

Oh, and don’t even get me started on the Coco Azul smoothie—fruity, refreshing, and the kind of drink that makes you feel like you should be sipping it on a beach somewhere.

All in all, if you haven’t been to Pura Vida at Sole Mia, what are you even doing...

Horrible,super slow service!I do not know if this only happens to me and if it’s personal!I have been there several times,however I never paid attention how long time it really takes to bring only a simple coffee!Today was the worst ever!I have ordered 2 espressos and 15 minutes later there was nothing!Meanwhile other people came in and they were served very quickly!Maybe because I don’t speak spanish??!!I asked a girl to check again and nothing happened another 10 minutes!Then I went inside and I told them ,that I don’t need anything anymore!No apology,nothing!Horrible ignorance and horrible service!Then I started thinking and remembered,that the previous day was also slow ,but I didn’t think how much time it took.I asked for a bit of hot water and it was never delivered!
