We began in the drive thru. The type on the menu was too small to read from the passenger side. We went in, and the menu type was even smaller. Had to get someone to read it to me. Many thanks to that customer! Stood at the counter register a while, apparently so employees could glance at us and keep walking. Then, we saw the self-serve places. Only two are there with people waiting to use them since employees didn't man the counter. We placed the order and chose sauces, all of it to go. When we got to the car, there were no sauces except the ones that cost 20 cents each, even though 4 of the free ones were requested during the ordering. We each had nachos, but the one with extra guacamole wasn't marked. If there were extra on them, it was hard to tell except that it had more smashed onto the box top. I wish it had more chips, too. Once everything has sat on top, some chips get soggy, and it's good to put a soggy one on top of the crispy ones. I can't wait to see what a screw up the burritos we got for later will be like.
I haven't been to a Taco Bell in many years. The one back home moved to the other side of town. We don't go that direction much at all, so it's been ages, though we ate at the former location a lot. I have no idea if that one has all the employee-less service like this one, but I missed the service of a restaurant today. Guests shouldn't need to do everything once they walk in the door. They already have to make their own drinks and grab condiments, utensils & napkins needed, whether it's a to-go order or to eat in. All that should be in the bag of a take out order. Why do they have to do everything else, too? Next, I suppose we'll be in back making our own food too. Sorry Taco Bell, you slipped up...
Read moreDon’t be fooled by the shiny new building with the hipster murals… avoid this location at all costs. The food is hit or miss… sometimes decent (it’s Taco Bell so not gourmet), but often times it’s cold, missing ingredients, and just entirely the wrong order. The staff is… who knows actually! They’re nonexistent at the counter; indoor orders are taken via kiosk. The drive thru seems minimally staffed as well- you will WAIT, and wait and wait. You’ll often see multiple workers at a time “on breaks” outside, while the lines just grow longer. The drive thru is the WORST. It’s set up to allow- rather encourage- other customers to cut in front of you by “merging” from a second entrance at the midway point of the line, despite you having already spent 20 minutes to get to that point. And once you’re in line, you’re trapped. There’s no way to bail after moving two car lengths in 30 minutes, so pull up your Netflix app cuz you’re in for a long haul. The entire setup is Utterly infuriating. After spending 48 minutes in line to pickup a mobile order of 4 measly tacos, don’t expect to get what you ordered or how you ordered it. Save your 60 cents for the sour cream you won’t get, and head inside to get your own sauces. I’m sure the staff are all lovely hard-working people, and I don’t know how a bad review affects them personally. I only had a 10 second human encounter at the drive thru window pickup, but it was long enough to see another staffer smoking a vape in the kitchen. This is the first time I’ve EVER left a negative review for ANY business. But this place is an embarrassment to the entire Taco Bell franchise. Go to the chicken place with the cows. (Today is obviously a Sunday or...
Read moreI'm giving this location a 3 star because the food is always great as far as taco bell goes. However there have been 2 times where the customer service was awful. The first time I placed the order at the wrong location and was told they couldn't make it at the correct location without placing a new order and that the previous order would be automatically refunded after 48 hours. This was not the case. The issue was not fixed and I did not get a refund for the previous order even though I never picked it up. I cut my losses and now I double check the location I have set on the app. Lesson learned. A few days ago I placed a carry out order on the app because I had a fussy 2 year old and the drive thru Line was out into the road, barely moving. I walk up to the building and the doors are all locked. This was at 630pm and the sign on their doors say "closes at 10pm" the employees see myself as well as a few other people but chose to look the other way....I called customer service and they told me the same thing as last time. That my order will be refunded within 24 to 72 hours. Yet again I was not refunded for the order I did not pick up. What was also really upsetting is that the CSR I spoke with said that the employees have to press a button on their screens that let's the system know the order has been picked up.... so are they pressing this button even though it has not been...
